My son in law got a new puppy and bought the machine for pets. when H showed me how it works I was thrilled. No more sweeping and no more messy mopping. I bought one - the edge clearner one.
I had a new kitchen floor installed, black & white in 9" square linoleum. I didn't know if it would actually clean the white squares, But it did, and did a great job. the best is not having to dump a bucket full of dirty water, and always wash with clean. Highly recommended! Especially for seniors! I am 77.

Game Changer!

BISSELL Homecare

This purchase has been a game changer. I have a German Shepherd with a lot of hair and LVP flooring in my house. This machine cleans and picks up dog hair and the cleaning solution is perfect for my floors. No streaking and leaves my floor clean. I love the self cleaning after I finished cleaning. Best Buy ever!!

Amazing Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since receiving the Bissell CrossWave Edge Cordless, it's become one the appliancesI use almost daily. Between my dog that sheds and tracks dirt in and toddler on the move, I reach for this tool constantly.

What I love most is how it vacuums and mops at the same time. Between dog hair, spilled snacks, and random sticky spots (thanks, toddler), I used to have to vacuum and then go back with a mop. Now it's one pass and done, which saves a ton of time and energy. I find I am also less annoyed at cleaning messes now because I no longer have to take out an army of cleaning supplies, just the Bissel Crosswave Edge and the job is done in a few quick seconds.

It handles pet hair really well on hard floors, and the mopping function actually scrubs up dried-on messes instead of just pushing them around. That's been huge for things like juice, yogurt, or muddy paw prints.

The cordless design is another big win. I can quickly grab it for a 5-minute cleanup after meals or let the toddler run around without dragging a cord everywhere. It's easy enough that I actually clean more often instead of letting messes pile up.

A couple things to keep in mind:

It's best on hard floors—it'll do area rugs, but it's not a deep carpet cleaner
The battery lasts around 30 to 40 minutes, which I found gave me adequate time to clean all the spaces I need while not lose cleaning power.
You do have to clean out the dirty water tank after each use or the black water will smell horrid if you let it sit.

For a busy home with pets and kids, it's truly the biggest game-changer. It doesn't replace a full vacuum for carpets, but for everyday messes, it makes keeping the floors clean way more manageable.

Bottom line: If your biggest battles are pet hair + kid messes on hard floors, this thing pulls its weight. I can't imagine life without this cleaning tool.

Busy Toddler and puppy household approved

Love it! Worked like a charm!! My floors are the cleanest they have been. My mop is going in the garbage!!

This is my second Crosswave, and I love them! Two in one cleaning with pets is a must. This latest model seems to be lighter and has a more flexible cleaning head for getting in the small spaces. I love this product and highly recommend them.

Love my Crosswave

This is by far the easiest and most effective way to clean our little puppy messes. Dry or wet messes this machine to get!!

Best wet / dry cleaning machine

We have a crosswave about 5 years old maybe more, the new one is good, but unlike the old
one the new one sprays all the time, takes getting use too, but seems ok for now

New Crosswave

Janelle McFarlane

Purchase this to clean my kitchen floors, which are tile. Using 2 ounces of solution in the water reservoir proved to be very expensive. Also, the microfibre roller had trouble removing stuck on stains on the floor. Would need to keep the roller spinning over the area for almost a minute before stains would be removed. It's an OK Appliance and I really like the way the water is operated quickly.

Not worth the money

The Crosswave cleaner is an overall disappointment.
When fully charged, it can be used only for a short time. I have a small area of tile floor and I had to charge the cleaner once before I could finish the job. Very inconvenient.
The cleaning is good enough only for a general dusty surface. When spots of dirt or spilled clear soup needs to be cleaned up, the spot remains present after a slow wet and dry phase, If there was a rough surfaced roller, perhaps it would have a better result.
On the good side, the cleaner is light weight, easy to work with, and does a good job on light cleaning.
Since I support a local animal shelter, an automatically added donation to the Bissel Foundation is an unacceptable practice. It was especially insulting after I explicitly deleted the illegal addition. Complaint resulted in a promise of a return call which never happened.
Overall rating is 3 (without the creative billing practice).

Disappointing

This is an alright solution for frequent cleaning of hard floors. However, the brush becomes filthy instantly and it takes a while to recharge once dead. If I was to do this over again, I'd purchase the cheaper version somewhere else.

Go with the cheaper version elsewhere

Very disappointed that the spray trigger is gone. Also doesn't clean as good as the previous model
