I use this to clean my gym floors. I've used the crosswave in the past, but thought I would try this because of the steam feature. It really helps to pick up whatever my client's track in and it's so much easier to clean than the crosswave. As long as it keeps working well, I would definitely recommend.

With multiple types of flooring throughout our home, I appreciate the ease of switching modes as quickly and conveniently as possible. My floors end up incredibly clean, and that's with a messy dog, three kids, a husband with work boots, and a neighborhood posse that runs in, through, and out, on the reg 😅 my kids are slobs and there is constant food, debris, crumbs, random spillage and drops of things just everywhere. This machine does a genuinely great job and absorbing all of it, with the occasional multiple passover as needed. I use this anywhere from 1-3x a week and I love how it vacuums and mops at the same time, with the option to sanitize/steam when it's needed and a breeze to move around. The handle is comfortable and the overall mechanics are smooth. It's actually quite simple to take apart and clean. Of course that part is always annoying, or when you have to pause and clean the tank part of the way through, but that's just because I am a little lazy, not a fault of the product. It's so easy to clean out and put back together to maintain its integrity.
I strongly recommend this product. I have been through multiple others over the years that have been mediocre at cleaning, or break/stop working somehow within 1-2 years. You can tell right off the bat that this machine is lasting quality.

Cleans very well

I have a 20+ yr old pro heat X's 2 bissell that was definitely a heavier machine. It cleaned but you'd have to disassemble to clean but carpets were pretty dry. 

My new evolution pet machine which also has the steam like the pro heat X2 but is much lighter machine. 
People complain about wet carpets on the steam/clean option vs Dry or no steam. 
Gotta be honest want clean carpets use the steam option as dry doesn't dispense any real solution which is why your carpets will be pretty dry. 

The minor issue is the front of the machine is extremely very light so that suction isn't nearly as good as my 20 yr old pro heat X2 

My first clean carpet are definitely a lot cleaner with 20 yr old carpet almost like new!! 
But it was left wet. 
I always water rinse and I then reached open with my hand and pushed forward I noticed a lot more water extraction. 
The machine definitely extracts better in the forward position vs back and by pushing down on the front of the machine my carpets are as dry as the old pro heat. 

I may look into devising some sort of weight to add so I won't have to bend over or use my foot. 

Other positives. 
WAY EASIER TO CLEAN i bought the whole package that tray is worth it. 
Doesn't hold a lot of dirty water but its way easier to use and dump. 
Picks up hair but doesn't clog and so easy to just wipe away. 
Brushes are so easy to clean and the cleaning tray works awesome. 
My machine is extremely very clean after my first cleaning. 
Carpets are amazingly a lot cleaner! 

Worth every penny!!

It definitely cleans with a minor con

I have ceramic tile floors and 2 dogs who shed a 3rd dog every other day. Even though I use all of the things to try and mitigate urine, accidents happen. I love this machine because, if you use it correctly (just read the instructions folks), it will clean your floors like a champion, clean itself like a boss, and be ready for action as soon as it's dry. I have used it multiple times and it over the corse of several cleanings has gotten rid of several shiny spots on the floor from urine build up, and as I have used it regularly the floors get cleaner faster. All of the parts of the machine come in and out of the machine easily and cleanup is so much easier than an earlier version of a wet/dry vac I used to use.

Best Wet/Dry option for big floors

We foster dogs and sometimes have up to eight in the house, so our carpet cleaner gets used a lot. I upgraded to this Bissell from a smaller model because I needed something with more cleaning power, a larger tank capacity, and better deep-cleaning performance. This cleaner delivers on all of that. It is a little heavier than my old one, but the extra weight is worth it for the cleaning results. I usually use it once or twice a week, and it has handled the job really well.

suction is not good i can go over the carpet 10 or even 20 time and it's still wet for 24 hrs , way too much detergent is suggested  cut in half or less go over cleaned area with hot water and see how much soap is left , otherwise it's better than my old Bissel cleaner also a pain to clean the machine , it doe's clean the carpet

I'm actually really disappointed in this. It is great that it's a 3 in 1. That's the whole reason I got it. However if there is any kind of set in dirt on the floor, it does not clean it up. I had a spot on the floor and no matter how many times I ran the machine back and forth it would not coming up til I held pressure down on the brush. Another annoying thing is you fill the container up and you would think it would hold as much dirty water as clean water but it dosent. I had to empty the dirty water 3 times with one container of clean water. I vacuumed with my regular vacuum first because we have two golden retrievers so there's a lot of hair so I'm not sure how well the vacuum would've picked up but even the little pieces of stuff that it did pick up it was in with that dirty water so when you go to drain it, it was all going down your sink and I wouldn't want all that hair going in my septic so that would be another problem area. For the price of this machine, I had better hopes than what it actually is.

Would not repurchase

Not as good as expected. Based on the price and specifications, I had very high hopes for this vacuum mop. Unfortunately, it struggles to remove stubborn and old stains and seems to work well only on fresh stains and spills. The drying function is also quite inefficient. When using steam to mop and then trying to dry without steam, a lot of liquid remains and it takes a very long time to dry. The biggest issue is the drying mechanism. It is seems to create a vacuum to suck up the water, but the suction frequently breaks, so the water is not collected effectively. Collects cat hairs nicely. Does a good job, but not efficient and versatile and advertised. For the price i expect more.

Good for Fresh Stains Drying Performance Is Poor

The device didn't work right out of the box. We deliberately picked a model with a cord and less bells and whistles to minimize the number of things that could go wrong. Unfortunately, this one failed to spray the clean water onto the roller (despite all the recommended troubleshooting steps). Bissell was good at arranging for a replacement under warranty, so we'll see what happens.  At this point, we have no idea how it cleans.

Not working out of the box

Very disappointed on the design because the vacuum casing on each side on the roller are rubbing against the floor, leaving marks and preventing the roller from touching the floor more than just a little.  I return it.
