I bought the Hard Floor Expert 1547 and life got easier for me. I was so impressed with it, I bought one for my daughter and two for our church. My sister-in-law and a friend also wanted me to order one for them. The only drawback is the floor cleaning head wears out quickly and costs $30 to replace. Maybe the little plastic rollers should be changed to metal to last longer.

Beautiful design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this , it was an upgrade to the Green Bissell and i like it very much , performing nicely- whole house hardwood with area rugs and it is small enough for me to lug around, more rugged, filter system so far I like allot more, they can get nasty quick the typical paper square louver style filter, they ruin the performance of machine , you have to replace often- , lets face it - hardword floors have dust and it adds up.....this filter sytem seems to be doing great, I have pets and the hair , the container capacity is much nicer, i don't have to empty as often. I have been a long time user of Bissell over the years , if i find something that works for me and has held up ....I stick with it. I ma glad i spent a little more money to get this next level up, its obvious.

I would buy again - just upgraded to next level

Very good little vacuum. It is lite and has a very strong succion. In the reviews, some people are saying that it is not folloing well and that it fall's often on the side. I have wooden floors and never had this problem. The only thing I don't like is that it is an hassle to clean it. Mostly when you have a dog.

I generally like how this vacuum works for actual cleaning. But the design is awkward and is always getting hung up on things or tipped over. It's almost easier to carry by the handle in one hand rather than stopping all the time to get it lose from whatever it is stuck on or to put it upright again, but carrying it is also tiresome. I will keep it because it does a good job of cleaning but wish it had a better design.

Does not work on low-pile rugs at all. Like the portability of the vacuum-very light and like that it was bag less-easy to empty and you can see when it is full.

I would NOT buy again.
