I have been wanting a vacuum to use on different levels of my house without lugging the central vac from the basement every time. I read many reviews and finally settled on this one because of the price and positive comments. It is so light, easy to use, works amazing on either carpet or floor. I needed it for crumbs on the main floor and for cat litter on carpet where we foster kittens. This vacuum has the suction and power to do an amazing job for every job. Best purchase I ever made. My 11 year old son loved the power of it and asked if that could be his going-away present when he leaves home. I cannot say enough good things about this vacuum, I love it!

Best Vacuum a EVER!!!

I am a Senior that has a long haired cat. This stick vacuum is so light, easy to manuver, and above all cordless. It's so easy to take the hand vac off and empty the cup. It really exceeded all of my expectations. You can't get better than that. I have hardwood floors with a few rugs and I love it so much think I am going to buy two for my boys for next Christmas. Great job Bissell.

We bought this vacuum a month ago to clean up after a busy two year old and a shedding dog. It's so light, and easy to use. A great feature is that it's a two in one - tall vacuum and hand held. The crevice feature is great for small corners. The only draw back is the base charger is not available in Canada. I would definitely recommend this vacuum to others. We paid only $49 on sale - can't beat that price! Makes my life easier, and that's worth any price!!

Great little vacuum!

I bought this right before Christmas to help with quick clean ups in between using my central vac. With 2 cats and lots of everyday cooking messes, it exceeded my expectations. I have wood floors and a few scatter mats, 1200sf on the main floor. This includes a woodstove that always seems to have a mess in front of it! It effortlessly picked up everything from cat fur to crumbs on both the floors and mats and lots of wood chips and stove messes. No complaints with battery time. I am able to run it completely around the main level, and still have plenty of power left to touch up my stairs and a couple rooms on another level. So much faster, easier and thorough than using a broom and dustpan. Easy to use and push around. Quick to empty and have ready for the next use. Sure has shortened my clean up time! Highly recommend this product!

Better than expected!

Purchased this vac mainly for picking up hairs and crumbs on the floor, and it does the job, however it will not pick up anything that sticks to the floor, even just a little. It's light and easy to maneuver so I can do the cleaning whenever needed without having to pull out the big vac. Overall satisfied.

Does basic job

I bought this a month ago and I've previously had plug in vacuums as well as a central vacuum.  The convenience of the 2 in 1 is amazing and I vacuum my house sooooooo much more than I ever have because of how easy this little guy makes it.

had this cordless for about 1 month.adequate power for a 1500sq/ft house.I use it between my big cleaning with the central vac. as it's easier to handle.

does the job

I was looking for a cordless vacuum for my apartment that wouldn't break the bank and this bissell fit the bill. It works great on my hard wood and also on my small rugs. I've only recharged it once but so far so good.

Great for an apartment

I bought this stick vac to use more as a broom.  It does a better job of getting most of the dog hair off the floors.  Better than a broom that just seems to push the hair around.  It really doesn't work at all on carpet/mats so would not recommend at all for that purpose.

Does the trick

Design is good. Small and portable. Does not have good suction. Barely picked up dog hair off the laminate floors. Motor broke within a week with twice daily usage. Would not recommend.
