My "tuxedo" cat loves to roll around on my bed, "scratching" herself on the newly vacuumed bed cover. Even tho' I brush her thoroughly, she loves marking her spot on the bed - which is the whole bedspread. She thinks it is disgusting that I don't leave the hairs on the bedcover, and probably thinks the black and white hairs are a lovely contrast to the flowered sheets. Oh well, I love her, anyway. All 17 years of her.

I bought this Pet-Hair Eraser specifically to vacuum the stairs. Before buying it (online, directly from Bissell), I checked ratings and recommendations. It works beautifully and is light enough for an older person who cleans her steps all by herself. Would buy it again any time (it won't happen though: the Pet-Hair Eraser will outlive me -- I am 88+).

I use it for cleaning my bread maker from those seeds that are used to enhance the bread's flavor, to remove dust from computer keyboards, to clean inside the car and many other things. This is possible because of the high suction this vacuum has for its size. Being corded, I don't have to be concerned about batteries.

I recommend the Auto-Mate Corded Hand Vacuum | 35V4C.

I bought this Bissell pet hair eraser because it was in my price range. I wasn't sure if it would fail just like those dirt devil hand held vacuums I once owned. I have to say I am impressed how well it worked on my sofa. This little thing has power and doesn't take up too much space. The con on this product is the handle. Bissell can improve in the design of it to be ergonomically friendly. Overall, it's worth the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use it to vacuum the carpeted stairway. With three cats it does a great job of picking up the cat hair. It's small enough to easily handle and a long chord which is a nice feature. So far no issues in using it. It's just a little noisy as our ears are close to the vacuum when using it on the stairs

Yes it is a fair assessment

I returned the item as it did not adequately pick up the cat hair from my upholstered pieces of furniture. Twice I used it but there wasn't enough suction to warrant the purchase. I found that using my old velcro 'mitt' was still much more effective - and took less time!
