This is our second Pet Hair Eraser. The first one lasted us 8 years, 2 dogs and long hair: we had to replace because the hoses cracked. The new vacuum is great, they upgraded the hoses making them more flexible, suction is great and easy to empty the tank.

I would buy this again (and did!)

This is the best pet vac I have ever used.  I have a lot of cats and two dogs plus I have long hair that falls out all the time, I have never had a vac that I didn't have to clean the rollers multiple times every time I used it until now. My carpets have not been this clean in a LONG time.

This vacum does exactly what it says and advertises to do. My Great Pyrenees has lots of long hair and sheds alot. The hair doesnt wrap around the roller, pucks up the hair on 1st pass over and i can take off- empty and replace canister in a minute... Love it.

I've had many vacuum cleaners in my life with pets.  None quite this good. On day one, I had to stop and empty the unit after every room.  Filled 7 bags with fur and dust. The next week the volume had decreased 50%. I initially thought the unit was not doing its job. I couldn't have been more wrong. Here I am at three weeks and the house is clean. Really clean. The fur that used to fly when the A/C fan came on is not there anymore. The unit cleans up very easily and I have not had to cut any wrapped hair from the beater bar. I wish the hose was longer because now I want to get higher and 6 ft is short for me.

What hair?

I love this vacuum.  It does exactly  what it says and more. It looks good and is the best vacuum  I have bought. I have bought hoovers,dyson, and others I can't remember.  B UT this is my last one Iwill ever need. It's so easy to use, I'm disabled  so I need a lite and easy to push vacuum.  And this is it . I liked it so much . I bought the little hand vacuum.  Again I love it.

Pet hair eraser

I have a rainbow sweeper that I have had for 15-20 years and it really picks up great.  I bought this sweeper for my daughter and I thought I would use it before I took it to her.  It really picked up so much I was surprised how dirty my rugs were.  What I liked so much was that it went from carpet to hardwood without having to change the settings.  I know what I am getting myself for Christmas this year!

Bissell Pet Hair Upright Vacuum

I vacuumed the house with my old vacuum, then I tried the Bissell pet hair eraser vacuum. I was amazed at the amount of pet hair and dirt that it sucked up. I would recommend this vacuum too anyone who has indoor pets. Very, very easy to dump dirt and hair collector, and with the attachments it was easy to get to hard to reach spots. Again well worth the money!

If you have carpeting, bare floors and especially pets that shed a little or a lot , this is the vacuum to get. Purchased a similar product with the Hoover name on it for $100.00 cheaper, I thought it worked great, but getting the hair from the brushes and collection container added another 5 to 10 minutes to the cleaning process.
When I saw the commercial for this Bissell pet Hair eraser I had to try it.
The first time I used it, I fell in love. Using the hoover model, I cleaned the Family room thoroughly , I then used the Bissell. I not only filled up the dirt collection container from an area I had just cleaned but there was not one hair caught in the roller brushes.
The dirt emptied with ease using one finger.  I am sold on this product and truly believe you will be too.  I still haven't  cleaned the brushes from the hover, Just took it to the basement.

Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Upright Vacuum, 1650W

If you have back problems at all, avoid this vacuum. It is the worst vacuum I have ever owned. It is heavy, bulky, and down right difficult to use. You will spend most of your time bent over if using the attchments because the hose is so short. Does not do well on hardwood flooring either. The pet hair attchment may be good, if you can get it to work. Must manually switch from floor vacuum to hand held hose-not difficult to do but another thing you have to do. The LED wand is nice but again, you are bent completely over to use it. I will return this asap and buy another dyson. That vacuum was a vacuum made by someone that has actually used a vacuum before. Dont waste your time, money, or energy on thus vacuum.

Must be a body builder to use this

I had high hopes for this product.  I was very disappointed when I went to use the attachments. There was hardly any suction at all.  The brush was just a snap on tool and not durable or sturdy enough to use on furniture.  I did agree with the roller, no hair wrapped around it.
