i was curious to how well it actually would work so i vacuumed theliving room with my old vacuum then vacuumed it with my new Bissell Power force. i was amazed. i had to empty the canister three times, it had vacuumed up so much that i was in shock that so much had been extracted.

Wow! It picked up what my previous vacuum obviously missed. I really like all the attachments and the rewind cord. 
It's bigger than I expected, which is the only downside.

I own one of these and my son and soon to be daughter-in-law needed a new vacuum. They have three dogs. This was the perfect gift got on sale at a great price.

Bissell - Great pet hair Vacuum

We had an older version of this vacuum cleaner and it worked for more than 10 years , we got a dirt devil and it wasn't getting the job done so I went back and found this new version of the bissell and I'm impressed with the suction of this vacuum if you have pets you need this it picks all the hair

Powerful suction

I love the idea of the retractable cord on this and its actually a big reason why I bought it, however,  when it gets to about the last foot of cord it stops. 
The performance of tge rest of the vacuum is satisfactory.  Decent vacuum for the price but I am really disappointed that it doesn't completely pull the cord back in most times.

Decent for the price but has its flaws

LOVE this vacuum. I have 2 golden retrievers and that means a lot of hair everywhere all the time. For some reason, having to vacuum is 1million times easier mentally with the cord rewind system. Also I go from hard wood floors to carpet no problem. It sucks up all the dirt and hair and empties super easily…much better than my Dyson ever did. We only rock Bissel now.

Great for pet hair, hardwood and carpet

i dont feel like it has a very strong suction. Doesnt suck very well on hardwood floors. I do like that the cord does retract inside so that makes for a quick put away. Over all i wish i had purchased a different vacuum this one is pretty disappointing.

Not worth the it...

This vacuum is just ok. It likes to spit out what I'm vacuuming up when in “floor” mode. It has ok suction while using attachments. The retractable cord works well and efficiently, while the container is easy to empty of all debris. I would suggest emptying out the canister after each vacuum. Hair and such tends to gather tightly within the canister making it a messy clean-up.

Vacuum challenges

Even on the highest setting, this vacuum is so hard to push. I have to push it with my hip and then pull it back. This is one of the worst purchases I have ever made on the flat floor. It's OK but as soon as you get into like a anything plush, it's impossible to push.

Extremely hard to push!!!

I purchased this vacuum on July 23rd and it has stopped working and is no longer powering on..it hasnt even been two months.  My home is mainly hardwood flooring except for one carpeted room, so i rarely vacuum. I am really disappointed  and will have to look for a different product. These items are not made well anymore and it is very unfortunate.
