The vacuum cleaner works very well. It cleans the carpeting well and was easy to asssemble only the handle. It was definitely a good buy and delivery was included.

A good buy and it works very well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a dog who only sheds lightly (non-shedding) and at 73 years old, I also have a disability walking with a cane. The 'self propelled' vacuum is a godsend for me because I don't have to push it like other vacuums and picks up everything off my rug. I didn't realize it had this feature when I bought it and I am in love with this vacuum. Thank you !

I would honestly buy this vacuum again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Highly recommend this vacuum. I used my existing vacuum cleaner (only 12 months old) and then my new Bissel back to back. No comparison. The Powerglide was by far the better performer. Easy to do stairs too!

Amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vacuum works well and picks up most pet hair - I have a medium sized husky so there's a lot of hair. However the product is heavy and while the ball apparatus does improve maneuverability, it sometimes sticks or clicks, and sometime the weight of the vacuum swings around unpredictably. The added tools (pet eraser, etc.) are great.

Decent for the price point

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product looks great. The reason to buy Bissell is this model has all filters washable except the motor filter which is perfect. The hoover i had previously did not have washafilters except one. The non washable filters are expensive and have to be replaced every 2 months no matter what they say. The reason not to give 5 stars to this product is I wish the back had enough space to fit all accessories.

Good ergonomic and economic product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum works well and has excellent suction. The powerhead helps lift out all kinds of debris from the carpet. Our previous vacuum left too much behind, which is why we bought a new one. My wife loves the lift off feature for the stairs, which is needed as overall the vacuum is a little on the heavy side. The lack of on board storage for the tools is a drawback and the extension wand falls out of the clip on the rear regularly. The cord storage is small requiring extra effort to keep wrapping the cord around. Lastly the Turbobrush tool gets clogged quite easily. Overall a good machine with a few drawbacks.

A good machine

Love the swivel steering and the handle on the hose, the length of the cord is perfect for me, I can vacuum a whole room without bringing the cord to the closest outlet. The design of the dirt tank separator is very useful, I don't have to reach inside to clean all the dirt stuck in there anymore. I think it needs to have a better design to hold all the specialty tools, not only 2 out of the 5 tools it comes with. I would like to see all the tools being able to be attached to the vacuum instead of being in a bag which I have to carry around everytime I use it. Also, the extension wand is pushed by the carpet or floor and the brush tool and the extension wand end on the floor...everytime I vacuum. Not a deal breaker, still an excellent product and would buy it again.

I would buy this product again.

I have used this vacuum 3 times in a 2-story single family residence with a pet dog. I replaced a 5-year-old Eureka vacuum cleaner. The new Bissell Power Glide® Lift-Off® Deluxe Upright Pet Vacuum model 2763 removed deep imbedded dirt as well carpet and dog fibers. I filled the dirt canister the first 2-times, and 1/3 filled on the 3rd. use. The noise sound emanating from the motor is much lower than any previous vacuum I have had and or any other vacuum I hear at hotels or coming from my neighbor's homes. This vacuum retracts closer to the floor to make it easier for use under a low table. The lift off feature I used on the stairs from the 2nd. story to the main floor seem to have worked well with the small power brush. I will try to see if there is a positive difference using the upright vacuum on the stairs. Plan to use more time cleaning with this vacuum due to the width of the brush being smaller than the Eureka brand I replaced, just like the reports from other users. This MAY be a good thing for areas that would require moving of furniture or between furniture and a wall.

Excellent vacuum

This is a great vacuum cleaner with two features that I like the most. The removal of the canister which makes cleaning stairs and hard to reach areas easier and the ability to stop the brush when vacuuming the hardwood floor. The suction is powerful and should have no problem on the carpet. The only thing I wish that can be better is the weight. It's still a little heavy to lug around.

A great vacuum cleaner for carpet/hardwood floor

I like that this vacuum is lighter than my original lift off, it picks up pet hair excellently and seems to have a lot of power. The only thing I don't like is the hose pops out a lot while I am vacuuming, and the hose and wand is not as long as my previous one.

I have had to take it apart a few times already. Also I don't like that the attachements are separate. I am very disappointed with this machine
