Morning Coffee Convenience

On/off Switch

We had a previous brand of coffee maker with lots of bells and whistles, like controlling from our phone. Basically, tons of features that we do not really care about. The only real thing is being able to serve 12 cups.

Jump less than two years later and that coffee maker starting behaving funny. We had to press the power button in a certain way for several seconds so that it registers that we want to make coffee. And at the end, that was it, no more coffee at all.

Being a complicated coffee maker, lots of electronics in there and it is not easy to change that switch that makes the power button.

So we came and bought this no fuss coffee maker from Black & Decker. So far, so good, it works perfectly and does what it is supposed to do, which is, make coffee. And should the switch fail again, it is clear as day that it would be easy to fix it ourselves this time.

So all in all, pretty happy with our purchase so far.

Bare coffee maker -- that's all you need

Great coffee maker.
Brews hot, no complex anything just add the beans, water and turn it on.and on top of that good price for what it is, had it for almost a week now so far so good

Good price, hot brew

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brews a great cup of coffee. Am I missing the auto shutoff after two hours feature somehow?

Happy Customer

blackanddeckerappliances.com

Great coffeemaker for the price!! The pot does not make a mess when you pour a cup of coffee. The coffee also stays good and hot on the little burner.

Dandy Coffeemaker!!

Coffee maker leaves no questions about getting it to work for you. Easy to clean. Add water and coffee and press on button and no confusion. Very good product.

Good coffee maker.

Good basic coffee maker. Easy to use, coffee nice and hot. Manual shut off. Good value. Have had good results with Black & Decker products.

Good value

I feel like I spent $300.00 on a prime coffee maker. I cannot believe this smooth, rich, oil-laced and sweet flavor. How can it be? Did I get slipped a $300.00 coffee maker by mistake in its place? Wow! This is all I can say is, "Wow"!

Tastes like the BEST brew!

walmart.com

Bought this coffee maker bc it was basic and affordable. I own a Keurig and wanted to purchase a coffee maker just for company pop in's. I like it. It's a 12 cup machine, basic, no bells or whistles, makes a nice HOT cup of coffee. The only thing I wish it had was an alarm to let me know my coffee was ready.

Cheap n cheerful

Michelle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brews quickly and without a lot of noise. Carafe does not drip when pouring...really! Would rate a 5 if it had auto shut off. All things considered a great value.

Great value!

If you like getting just as much coffee on your counter than in your cup, this is the coffee maker for you. Every time. Upon closer examination you'll notice the spout on the pot is more "stubby" than other brands. Thus every time you go to pour a cup, coffee runs over the side of that stubby spot and all over your counter. I've had this maker since 6/5/05 and it has done this every time. Today I had enough of it and took it outside and threw it like a baseball, giving it a proper ending as I'll being buying another tomorrow and that maker will be any brand other than black and decker. I don't care if it's a dollar general coffee maker, it has to be better than this. You will regret purchasing this, I promise you that and would give this item a negative star review if I could. Don't do it...heed my review...just don't.

It spills all over the counter when pouring a cup
