Exactly what I needed.  Not too heavy but heavy enough to make good cuts.  Cuts really well. Glad I  chose this one. I recommend this saw!

Great price and it came early.OnLY issue is I read the review and thought it had a light on the trigger.When it did not I thought it was broken.Went back and read the review for it and the review was for a drill not a sawzall.

I presently have an electric reciprocal saw but up to now have not used it because I am always afraid I will accidentally cut the electrical cord and it is still in original brand new box.  I am an older person of 73 years and am having a very good time using my battery operated reciprocal saw I am even going to neighbors just so I can use my saw ,  you just need to have an extra battery .

Highly recommend this saw

This saw is a Godsend. I limb trees that are down or low down over an acre and a half.  The easy blade change is perfect.! This is my second saw of the same type. The last one lasted 8 years and while its still going, the only problem has been with the trigger lock coming on from all the ruff use and severe vibration. A Gal has to get it done.  Not smooth, but timely cutting on my part.  I bought the second one and use both as often as I can.

The Perfect Saw for Limbing and Trimming Trees

The blade is a bit short so I bought longer 15” tree cutting blades. It accommodated the new blade beautifully. My only issue was the short time on the battery.

The Black   Decker brand continues to supply reliable, easy to use, and lightweight tools which enable older, females (like me) to get their work done.  Tool came with the battery, charger, and one blade.  Battery charged fast -  always best to plug directly into an outlet and not an extension cord.  I do have multiple batteries for other B D tools which I swapped out.  The tool is balanced and there was no strain on my forearm despite using the saw over several hours and several days.  Battery lasted approximately 30 - 45 minutes, but longevity is based on materials being cut.  Both the handle and the grip on the tool were comfortable.  The blade does vibrate heavily when not engaged with material, but that vibration did not transfer through the tool to affect my hands.  Maybe a shorter blade would reduce the vibration or perhaps the blade securement needs adjusted or tightened?  Cut easily through plaster and lathe, and 1/2" plywood.  Wish this tool came with a hard storage case or a blade kit for various materials.

I've always liked the brand, up untill i bought this item, I bought it for my son, and it wasn't even a month old, and the first day he used it, the battery was fully charged and it started shorting out, and now i have to send it back, because I bought it online and without a receipt in hand, we're not able to refund or replace the saw, Very poor quality.
