Been looking to get a reciprocating saw for a while now and recently purchased the 5 1/2" circular saw that uses the 20V battery as well.  I have several other B&D power tools I used in the yard and all have worked flawlessly.  Have some wood fence work to do and will definitely be using this to cut down the old planks once I'm done.  This saw also fit my budget for around the home use..    The man in the powered tools section recommended since I already own other 20V B&D products thus making the purchase of a product with a battery and charger unnecessary.

I purchased this after doing a lot of research and watching youtube channels.  This one caught my attention for it's simplicity of use, lightweight and perfect for the home gardener.  I am 65 years old and in good shape  I love to garden, but some of my smaller trees and older shrubs are getting to be difficult to cut back with basic gardening tools.  I used this for the first time about a week ago, and was amazed at how much I got done.  Great time saver.  Thanks B&D.

This is my second saw. The first one lasted over 8 years until the case cracked because it was dropped. The saw has very little vibration as long as the shoe is kept against the material being cut. The battery give me about 18-20 cuts across 5/4x6 decking before I have to charge it.

Of all the cordless tools I've ever owned, I like this one the best. I just used this with the batteries from my other 20v Max Black and Decker cordless tools to take a water damaged roof and wall apart to be reconstructed, and I can't stress enough how quick, easy, and accurate this saw made the job go. It went from dreaded work to actual fun seeing how easy it was to get all that old wood down and out of the way. I also bought a pack of B&D metal blades that cut steel construction plates, nails and small bolts like cutting through butter. The best investment I've made in cordless tools, bar none! Great value, too! Thanks, Walmart !!!

What a time saver!

I have several 20v black and decker tools and love most of them. This is definitely one we love. The bkafe supplied with the tool is of very poor quality. It lasted only a few times. In general we highly recommend this.

Great tool, very poor factory supplied blade

I bought this brand only because I have other Black and Decker tools with the same charger, so I thought it would be a good choice.  Very happy that I bought this one.  It gets the jobs done that I have to do.
