Got this as an early Christmas present for my boyfriend since his kicked the bucket. He loves it. It's a really nice fan and the remote helps so much since we're both disabled.

Best bang for your buck! All steal and no plastic here! Black and Decker has you covered. I was tired of those plastic fan breaking and not performing. It may cost a little more upfront but I do believe it will prove to be money worthy. I have enjoyed it for a few months now!

I love black and decker products, this is my favorite floor fan ,and not having to get Up to turn on and off is great

Great purchase. I use it at night  to cool off the bedroom. It was easy to put together. The price was  great.

Good fan for the price. Very easy to put together without the instructions. The only issue I have with it, is while it is running it puts off an odor. Kind of smells like ozone or maybe a motor grease. I've been running it for almost a week now and can still smell it.

hard to put together for me.  Doesn't stay tight when assembled. cools nicely. i had a dard time connecting the front and back shield.  Not sure it is on correctly.

Turning on/off and switching modes is a loud beep. Annoying trying to adjust it late night. Slows down randomly like it's gonna stop working.

This fan is poorly designed. It is so top-heavy that the adjustable pivot on the "neck" is not strong enough to support the weight of the fan and motor, so it droops downward, permanently pointing at a downward angle towards the floor. If you try to straighten the fan's angle and tighten the pivot screw, it lasts for a couple seconds, then the heavy fan motor slowly starts to droop down again until it's aimed at the floor. The mfr. should not make it with an adjustable neck if it's too heavy to be supported by a screw. Just let the customer raise or lower the telescoping pole to aim it higher or lower. We had to return it when the thin plastic neck at the base of the heavy motor cracked due to the mechanical stress of the pivot screw not being strong enough to support its weight. It only lasted 48 hours and was pretty useless when pointing down towards the floor the whole time.

this was supposed to replace a fan that I already had warranty on they refunded me $16.16 and then I received a package that is destroyed and the pieces are broken
