It works well so far with a quick heating for small spaces.

Really quick

This thing is super small, but works so well! I have a larger basement apartment with drafty windows, and it gets super cold in the winter. I put this heater on and within an hour it is almost too toasty warm. I accidentally left it on over night the other night and when I woke up the entire apartment was perfectly warm. I don't recommend doing that, but it just shows how well this thing works.

Best purchase I've made all year.

we have a 2 story house and the heat always rises to the upstairs leaving downstairs cold. We set one of these in the hall where the thermostat is and it has a temperature sensor and turns on when temp dips and shuts off automatically when it reaches the right temp. the upstairs stays the right temp because we have a few more heaters in the bedroom, but don't need the whole house heater on.

will save lots on your energy bill!!

walmart.com

I love very low temperatures summers or winters when i go sleep, talking 58,so i got this for my hubby who goes to sleep 4 hours after i do and when he plays on his PC he freezes to death :D He said this is helping so much so i would say was a good deal!

SAVES My Hubby's Life

I was a little scared to get this cause the reviews were very 50/50.
A lot said it stinks and the smell never goes away and stunk their homes up.

I was prepared for the smell and opening the box to almost no scent.
So I was glad and plugged it in... and thought it was broken.
IT didn't start at all! But It has that little button on the bottom incase it falls over so if you have a stubborn one like mine, might need to press it hard into tiles/carpet. OR hold the button down and gently set it on the floor.

THEN the smell people complained about became very apparent. When it turns on there IS a very strong smell! Though all you have to do is open the windows and let it air out. The stink isn't forever! ITs just for when you turn it on the first times. In fact, I forgot my friend owns one of these (white version) and I have never smelled it cause they have had it awhile. Just let it get through the smelly stage and its very good. Warmed up the whole room pretty fast on the regular heat mode.

If you were nervous about the smell /turning-on

The heater keeps the room warm, but you cannot leave the heater unattended. It started to spark so I just turned it off waited and an hour then I turned it on again.
The extension cord is long and it's light so you can take it to any room.
The first time I used it I've left it on for 2 hours straight and it started to smell like a overheated blow dryer, so I turned it off and let it cool.
I think the heater would be better if it would shut off on its own if it over heats but other than that it's pretty good for the price just keep your eye on it.

Handy heater

I was confused at first because i didn't read the instructions but for it to turn on it has to be sat down and it works good and the heat isn't that strong but it will warm up and get spaces warm when used, But overall I think it was worth the money with it also been on sale.

👍👍

This isn't a good product to buy because you can't adjust the heat it only gets hot and that's it even if you turn it on low it's still blowing the highest heat then stop for couple minutes and then start to go again now I'm somebody who stays cold and this gets my room entirely to hot because there is no way to control the amount of heat coming out

Not all that great gets way to hot

Stops working every year and has to be replaced, acts like it's the safety setting but it just never turns on again. Only the light works after it has broken, and before it has broken the light stays on even when it is off.

Cheap temp fix, not worth long term.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed that I had to return this heater. I had high expectations since it carried the Black and Decker name. Now I've read into lots of reviews after I returned it. Lots of complaints about it being loud. Well the sound of the fan is fine with me. Tells me it's doing a good job at pushing and circulating the heat. But this problem was way worse. Every time the contacts touched for it to turn on ,it threw a blue electric spark. Now the chances of something flammable being close enough to catch fire were 99.98% impossible, but fumes can ignite too. And every heater may spark at the moment of contact to turn on. But I promise you I have never ever seen it on any other electric heater I have owned. The heat was great. But if I had no other choice from having this heater to not having one and being cold...we I'd just have to grab some more blankets and clothes.Because I'd rather have my cold home than it catch a fire and have no home at all. I live in a mobile home and in less than 3 minutes it could burn to the ground. People need to watch out for this one. It has also had a recall several years ago. Maybe this product should be removed from the shelves.
