this is is a great iron. I was not really sure if I should get this iron because the price was really reasonable but believe me I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED.  IT'S a beautiful iron work greàt the steam is perfect I love this iron . it's light  weight , look good got all the bells ànd whistles  for $20. get a couple of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically like to read reviews prior purchasing a product. The product itself came out really good and it helped me immediately as I need to iron my clothing for my job.   Product was easy to handle and instructions were clear.

I am happy with this steam iron box. It is definitely worth the money. It heats up quickly, removes wrinkles effectively, and is easy to use. The steam function works well and makes ironing faster compared to a normal dry iron.
The only thing to note is that sometimes white residue appears on clothes when using the steam function. This might be due to the water quality we are using, not necessarily the iron itself. Using clean or filtered water may help reduce this issue.
One more good thing is while filling water, even if a little spills on the sides, nothing happens and it feels safe to use. The design is user-friendly and convenient.
The cord quality is also good. It does not tangle easily, even when I am not using an ironing board.
Overall, it's a good product for the price and I'm satisfied with the performance.

I was in the market for a new iron but really enjoyed the stand up steam option. It definitely saves trips to the dry cleaner in a pinch. The cleaning function is great. 

You have to get distilled water to use this. Please don't purchase and use tap water which will otherwise clog the steaming vents and you'll get build up. Never had that issue with this model.

excellent iron for the price. this just replaced an expensive, nearly $100 ceramic iron that the ceramic tip of the ironing plate  fell off of. 
HIGHLY RECIMMEND THIS black and decker iron with the stainless steel plate, it's far superior at ironing fabric and creating steam over more expensive ceramic types (which I will never again purchase)

Excellent iron, heats fast, great value!

This would be excellent for traveling. It is also a steamer for wrinkles in clothes. For the price, build quality is good. if you are prone to accidentally leaving things behind in a hotel, or other travel adventures, the price of this name brand item keeps it easily replaceable. You also probably won't have to bring a steamer with you for your shirts, and pants. It saves money in that department if you can learn that skill. It won't show you how to iron, or steam clothes. Read the directions. Unless you built it, you wont know how everything works. It's not like you add water to the tank, turn the dial, then simply iron your fabric. So learn the skills, and save money with this affordable iron if you can. Not good for silk, or heat sensitive materials. The iron will work after that, but those burned items won't. So "Folow the rules''.

And you can steam wrinkles out for the price too?!

This iron doesn't seem to get hot enough. It makes me work extra hard to get the wrinkles out of some fabrics. If ironing light weight fabrics with just a few wrinkles, it's okay, but for deep wrinkles and creases, it seems to take forever to get it done.

Okay for light ironing

I got this mainly for the vertical steam function and it hardly works. One poof of steam and that's it until you wait a little bit.

Steam function is awful

Settings on the dial of the iron are so tiny they are almost impossible to read and the dial does not turn easily.
The "Burst of Steam" feature does not work at all.
The only positive is that it heats up very quickly and is fairly lightweight.  However, with the other issues, I am returning it for an iron that is more user-friendly.

Steam feature doesn't work

Purchase this iron as a temporary replacement until the iron I wanted becomes available however it was useless as its performance is terrible. It has to be at its maximum heating setting to iron even a silk blouse. As for jeans… forget about it. It takes forever to get wrinkles out. I hope my review helps someone else.
