I bought one each for my kids at christmas. They love it so much, I just ordered my own. It picks up everything. It does not get tangled in cords just reroutes. Love it

Excellent vacuum

I have no complaints. I have owned the HRV425BLP for a month now and it does a great job. I could not believe how much dirt and dog hair it picks up. The only time that it has given me a error code was when I hoping that a rug in the front door would not cause trouble with it cleaning the entrance way but the rug was very thick so it would catch the end of the rug and get caught in the main brush. I now roll it up and set it to the side, out of the way. After I thought about it, I could not have done that with an ordinary upright sweeper because it would have done the same thing. I have read that some customers stated that there Robot had trouble finding it's charging dock. my experience is that It some times takes it more time, when Bandit ends up in one of the bed rooms but it will finally find it's charging base. Only once I had to pick it up and put it back in the same room as the charger and then when it see it's home it sneaks up on it like a cat playing with her toy and when it's lined up it speeds up a little like a cat jumping on it's toy. When you down load the App to your Mobil phone you get to name the sweeper so I named mine Bandit. The only option I wish it had was an invisible wall so I could restrict it from going places that I did not need it too. I now just lay a broom handle across the door opening to block it in. I realize that there are some more expensive robot's out there with more bells and whistles on them but they are twice the money or more for my money the Black and Decker does a great job for the money.

Good response message system. Good large see through bin. Good battery run. Got lost a lot in the narrow hallway upstairs, lost for home. Software App needs upgrade to match functionality to match up with the eufy which has the options of edge, S, random. Also this is a bit taller and had stucked under certain  "just fit headroom" furniture's.
But overall, it's fun to watch.

B & D robovac

I bought this machine about 3 weeks ago and we used it so far twice.  It seems to work well and is picking up small lint and dirt however it seems like it goes over the same spots over and over again and not recognizing that it has cleaned the are at list twice before.  Sometimes I have to pick it up and move it to the right direction.

Great machine for the value

I bought this item as a Christmas present for my wife. She had mentioned a Roomba, but this vacuum cost less than ¼ of Roomba. I expected a nice robot vacuum that would do light cleaning inbetween regular cleaning. However, we've been pleasantly surprised at how well it cleans. With 2 dogs and 3 cats...well you get the picture. This vacuum picks up all the hair daily as well as larger debris like dry dog food that gets spilled and the peanuts that occasionally get dropped by the backyard door while tossing them out for the Blue Jays and squirrels/chipmunks.

The android app makes it easy to use the vacuum and was easy to download and install - another welcome feature.

There are 2 "concerns" we have with the vacuum. The area rugs in the kitchen often foul the vacuum so you do have to be aware of when it beeps to get it unstuck before it turns off. Otherwise it seems to lose track of where the docking station is and has to relearn where it is. The other concern is a minor one. My wife would have preferred it had its own remote and the app was optional.

Other than that, we couldn't be more pleased with the performance and looks/design of this little gem.

Great cleaning power

Works well on all surfaces and collects pet hair like a dream! However, some adult supervision is required, so if you hope to program it and go away, try a different model. It gets stuck on thin rugs like kilims. I also had to trim all carpet fringes because the pet-hair collecting rotating brushed kept getting tangled.

Love my robo vacuum

I received this for Christmas and really like it.  It does a good job of vacuuming.  It doesn't really follow a pattern so takes awhile to get the entire room clean.

After mess than a year or was broken... I have To send it in an other City To know if they can do something with it... I was pretty satisfied before that...

[Employee of walmartcanada] I bought this black and decker vacuum on clearnce as I'm always looking for a good deal, and being more than half price I jumped on it right away. 

I expected so much more for something marketed towards the cleaning of pet hair. This thing lacks suction! And the beater bar is just useless! The bar constantly gets stuck, either on little pieces of plastic (from juice boxes for example,) or wrapped up with hair. My daughter is type 1 and her test strips sometimes fly out of her kit like confetti, and of course being the 9 yr old child she is doesn't like to pick them up, So I was hoping this robot would help with not having to sweep as often....nope, it can't even pick those up! Instead the little spinning brushes at the top fling them all over the place even more. 

I dropped a bowl of spices I was mixing on the kitchen floor. Turned this guy on, it did pick up some, but the suction was just not enough to pick up what was in the grooves of the tile and when I flipped it over to see if something was stuck, all the spices were still sitting all over the beater bar and the whole bottom like it was static cling to the plastic. I ended up pulling out are big bissell to combat it.

I am definitely returning this!

Expected more

Got this a while ago, just now able to use it. Hasnt worked at all. Motor is fried already, the roller wont turn, constantly says brush is jammed. Contacted B&D to find out about replacement and was basically told oh well we dont make it anymore so youll have to find parts elsewhere. Dont think ill be purchasing anything from B&D anymore after this experience. They dont stand by their products.
