Lovely mini heater

It's amazing. We are a family of 2 disabled parents, one of whome is home hospice, and a son  9 years old. In our place we have ceramic tiles and the floor gets cold in the winter. Hvac folks came to turn heater on but had to tell us it's a hazard ant can't be turned on. Bought this about a week prior. Works like a charm.

We’ve had it for weeks now and so far so good. We use it for a bedroom and it does the job.  It did come with a heavy toxic smell when you first take it out of the box which almost made me return it but I let it air out a bit and that did the trick.

Perfect for small areas or to use under a desk to keep your feet warm.  Has a safety feature on it so if it get's knocked over or is off balance, it will cut off.  Also has high and low thermostat settings that you can set for your own personal comfort.

In terms of how well the heater works, it is fine, although the blowing heat could be a bit stronger.  The cord is a good length and the unit is compact, with a handle for carrying.
But...when I opened the box--it had been sealed in plastic--the chemical smell was almost overwhelming.  The packaging reeked!  The heater itself wasn't quite as bad, but even though the unit worked fine, I could still detect a smell in my room.  Also, there's a warning on it regarding carcinogens and reproductive health.  Black and Decker said that Canada put the label on.  Health Canada said that it came from California and that it doesn't mean that the heater isn't safe.  I wasn't comfortable with that, so unfortunately, the heater is being returned.

Had to return it the plug broke off within a week still haven't gotten my return refund yet

Box arrive totally trashed and opened. Looked like it was run over by a mack truck. I really needed the heater as It was about to snow and my office is so cold. The heater it self was not damaged and worked well. The fact that someone would knowingly send a package in that condition is beyond me.
