Nutrient Content Claims

Healthy Gourmet Pates has been the only canned food my picky cat will eat. I like it because it doesn't have the fills and crap most other cat foods do. Now that only Tastefuls is available, I figured it was just a rebranding. My cat's favourite has always been the Salmon Pate. Now, the Tastefuls Salmon she won't touch. She loves beef, but the Tastefuls Beef pate, she walked away from. She will still each the Chicken, and Fish. So, I'm still able to buy them. (I only buy the pate) But as others have pointed out, the recipe changes are definitely NOT cat approved.

Have to agree with most reviews

What a complete waste of $$.  I have 2 Siberian Forest Cats that have only ever eaten Healthy Gourmet.  Was advised the new 'Tastefuls' was the replacement for Healthy Gourmet, same great recipe/taste...  I have 2 cats that beg to differ.  This is now day 3 trying to feed them the newly branded food and I am currently looking at 2 full, untouched bowls of food that will undoubtedly make their way to the waste bin.  Not only is this becoming a pricey experiment over here, I also have 2 very hungry little fur babies.
Blue Buffalo, you have really dropped the ball on this one! My most sarcastic thanks for providing me the expensive and wasteful opportunity of trying to find a new pet food brand for my cats.

Tastefuls should be called wastefuls!

My cat has been particularly difficult to find a solid wet food for. There are brands that she almost immediately pukes right up. Found Healthy Gourmet worked for my cat, and it worked for me, as a healthier option that wasn't too expensive. Shortly after landing on this brand, they changed up the food to this Tastefuls name/recipe, which I tried, and my cat immediately puked up as well! I would agree with many other reviews, please bring back the older recipe!! I even reported this to customer service directly so that they were aware.

Bring back Healthy Gourmet!!

I bought a 12 pack of this (different flavours) and my cat won't eat any of it. She would meow for the wet food wanting it but when I put it down, she sniffs it and walks away. She would wait for the next feeding time of dry food to eat. Please please PLEASE bring back healthy gourmet.

My senior cat only has 2 teeth and he is super picky about the food he eats. He's been eating Healthy Gourmet for a few years now so when I saw it was a new formula I was very hesitant. As I suspected, he will not touch the Tastefuls, the texture and smell is very different and it is a lot more dry than the Healthy Gourmet. My other cat even turns her nose up at it and she literally eats everything.

Bring back Healthy Gourmet

New Tasteful formula is not what it used to be. I have tree cats and I have been buying the chicken flavoured cans for many years. That was the only brand my cats would eat. Now they don't even touch the Tasteful.Bring the old formula back. Whatever was changed in there was not for better.

Tasteful is not tasteful

For some reason the recipe was changed, different smell and consistency from the previous "healthy gourmet" products. Same price as before, but the cat won't eat it. Whatever amount blue buffalo is saving on manufacturing costs will pale in comparison to lost sales.

Cat won't touch it.

I just bought tastefully because I couldn't find healthy gourmet. My cat will not touch it. He sniffed it and walked away. Now I'm left to find a food he will actually eat. This recipe is not the same. It doesn't even look the same. Different colour and texture.

Not the same recipe

I don't understand why some of the cans are juicier than others. Same brand, same flavor, same everything.  I open a can it's so dried out. As I read all the reviews from every site people say the same thing. Blue Buffalo is inconsistent.  You should strive to be the best instead of mediocre.  I will buy a different brand. BB use to be good but not anymore.  Bring back Healthy Gourmet as all your customers are saying. The new " tastier" recipe isn't working.

Inconsistent Texture

Took Ages and multiple cans of cat food into the garbage before we finally found A wet food that our finicky cats would eat; it was Healthy Gourmet 
Meaty morsels (Chicken or Tuna entrees).
Unfortunately, now they have spoiled a good thing by changing the recipe somehow :(

Maybe this change was made to save the company money, but my cats wants NOTHING to do with it; so this change may actually end up losing them money as they lose sales. Too bad.
Looks like I am not the only person (or should I say cat parent) that feels this way!

Bring back the Healthy Gourmet recipe!!
