I bought the duo temp pro after months of research. It does just what I want. It looks good on the worktop and produces consistently good coffee. The steam wand took a bit of getting used to but once mastered gives great results. Overall I am extremely happy with the Duo Temp Pro and look forward to many years of great coffee.

Bought this one month ago, initially I was worried that the machine would be difficult to get used to but this is not the case.
After watching a few videos now making some great coffee and really happy with the purchase. There are no bells and whistles with this machine but can make a shot and then use the steam wand soon after so it does take too long to make a coffee

Love this machine

I was torn between this and the Bambino Plus that my daughter has.  I'm so glad I chose this.  I like that it is not automated, but it is still easy to use.  It is much easier to get a good Americano with the DTP than the Bambino, which is our coffee of choice at home. Learning to froth milk adequately (I'm still not at latte art standard) gives a reason for drinking lovely milky coffees (wry grin). The water tank and drip tray have generous capacity.  You do have to keep an eye on it whilst it's running, but that suits my lifestyle.

So glad I bought this

After about a month, I am loving this machine. I consider myself a notch above a novice having had cheap machines in the past. Didn't want to take a massive step up so went for this machine as it's fairly manual. Preferred to try and teach myself how to produce a good espresso shot which I am slowly mastering. Quality build and for the first time I can successfully froth milk! My only slight niggle is that I often have to wait for the pump to come on for the steam to start. Love it.

Quality, with great features

I bought my Duo Temp about 3 weeks ago and i am loving it . I have not owned any type of coffee machine before but was tired of nasty stove top coffee. I found it simple to set up and use . The coffee that came with it is delicious , so it will be interesting to see what the coffee is like with other coffees . I have noticed that the water tank goes down very fast and the drip tray needs emptied after every use . Milk steamer works great but i need to improve my technique ! Machine looks great too.

Great coffee machine

I have been using this machine for over a month now, and I think I can provide an objective opinion.

PROS:
* Nice-looking machine: simple, classic, metallic design
* Good size: not too big for the kitchen, but large enough to feel stable, especially when inserting or removing the portafilter
* Nice to have temperature stability control and a 9-bar pressure regulator
* Easy to operate
* Excellent results for espresso, milk steaming, and hot water for americanos

CONS:
* It would be nice to have a programmable button for automatic volume control
* Released steam pushes moisture into the storage box (not a big deal, but it would be nice if this area were covered)
* I would prefer a non-burning steam wand, but it's not a big issue

Still nice and capable machine, even after 10 years

Pleasingly solid machine that produces a great espresso. No bells and whistles but this does mean there is little to go wrong.  It is very easy to use.  Happy owner.

I love my new coffee maker it produces such wonderful coffee and gives you the option for different coffee's from fresh ground , signal or double shots and the frothing is wonderful. Coffee is really hot .

Great machine

First coffee machine. Spent a long time watching videos and reviews. This machine I reckon is the best of the lower budget quality machines available. It doesn't disappoint either. Great start out machine which will last a long time.

First machine doesn't disappoint

Sadly, a little underwhelmed with this model. Nothing wrong with the coffee it makes, but its level of basic is a little too extreme. No low water level cut out, so easy to run the pump dry, which will of course affect the lifespan of the pump. It looks nice, but a small water capacity and need for a separate grinder actually puts it in a different category completely. Regretting my decision to not get the touch

Quality product, but wish I had gone with the upgraded models.

We have been quite disappointed in this unit. Customer service has been great but the unit that was sent is not what we'd hoped for. It does not produce créma and the coffee ( tried multiple) just   Doesn't taste great. We have another larger unit and we live the coffee . So the Duo-temp is an I really disappointment.
