It toasts evenly and quickly.  I appreciate that it still has buttons to press, and a lever to slide for more or less browning. Consumer Reports really likes it, which is why I decided to buy it.

The variable/infinite slide to set your desired toast also works great to get exactly what you like and is very repeatable. The countdown meter helps you know that the time in the toaster is accurate and its not malfunctioning. So far aso good

Love Love Love this toaster! It is a replacement for the same model we used until it's wheels fell off! The bit more feature is addictive for making the perfect toast! Looks nice and works amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] EXCELLENT toaster! What I love most about this toaster is it does NOT get hot to the touch when toasting. It has a inside compartment that does the heating and an outside attractive stainless steal shell that leaves a gap of air between the inner compartment. I also like the toasting options and simplicity of its design.  I highly recommend!

EXCELLENT TOASTER!

It has top-notch toasting power, and helpful features that give you the ability to create perfectly evenly toasted bread. Left to itself, when toasting dense bread that takes longer to toast, it will toast the inside surface of the bread more than the outside (like every other toaster I've used) however, this toaster lets you lift the toast up whenever you want without ending the cycle, so you can grasp it and turn it over. The LED indicator tells you when the toast is half-done, so that you can time your flip-over. I find it easy to work with, and I get the best toast I've ever had -- not only even on both sides, but also with that crunchy well-toasted texture. I'm very satisfied with its performance, and also the quality feel of the unit.

There was no info with it, so I figured it out

The sole criterion I have for a toaster is that it centers whatever is put in it, so it toasts evenly.  I was encouraged by the description for this toaster.  Alas, it is like every other toaster in that the springs are shaped like this: / \ instead of this: | |   Thus, only the top is centred, and the bottom can (and usually does) flop to either side, burning it on one side and under toasting it on the other.   Profoundly disappointed.  WHY CAN'T ANY TOASTER MAKER FIGURE THIS OUT???

We returned because this device it is much too slow to make our roasts,damage because we have other Breville device except that your toaster is very disappointing....

Bread Grille

This is probably the last time I get this type of bread rack. My old Breville model was superior and more efficient. This one takes a crazy time and even calibrated to position 4 and a half the bread does not grill. The exterior elements work, but not those in the center, which does not help the good results of the opposite side to the heating element. Sometimes the indicator goes up and down, and goes back to the max, find out why. In the end, I will not recommend this product which is too expensive. He's on the edge of the trash... that's all.
