BTS (Bangtan Boys) Wings CD. Riding the wave of success following 2015's The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 2 and 2016's The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever, BTS continued their global ascent with the release of their sophomore LP, Wings. Issued in late 2016, Wings pushed the creative maturation for the K-pop septet while maintaining the unique spirit that had so endeared them to fans looking for more than the typical K-pop industry product. In addition to a handful of requisite hits that deftly captured the contemporary pop zeitgeist, Wings allowed BTS to delve deeper into more serious topics (such as mental health, non-conformity, and female empowerment) and artistic expressions. Wings notably features seven solo tracks that showcase the personality of each BTS member. On V's soulfully jazzy "Stigma," Suga's intense "First Love," and Rap Monster's atmospheric "Reflection," gravity and introspection collide, grounding the dance-pop gems that bookend the album. Jungkook's "Begin" is bright and tropically inspired (much like lead single "Blood Sweat & Tears," it sounds like something produced by Major Lazer), while Jimin's bold "Lie" is buffered by lush orchestral production and Motown cool. Jin contributes a gorgeous ballad with "Awake," and J-Hope maintains the hip-hop heartbeat of BTS with "MAMA." The other half of Wings finds BTS together as a unit and in full K-pop hit mode on infectious dance tracks like "Lost," "Interlude: Wings," and the booming one-two punch of "Am I Wrong" and "21st Century Girls." Diehards will rejoice at the sight of "BTS Cypher 4" (the first since 2014) which features frantic trap-rapping akin to countrymate Keith Ape. With such a wide range of stylistic influences and lyrical content, BTS continue to push the limits of what can be said or done in K-pop. Wings is a testament that such risks can be both substantial and successful. ~ Neil Z. Yeung

For people who need reassurance like me: This is the real/official album. It is not a fake. Like the previous album I purchased, this album came in packaging that provided protection from damage during shipping. The album arrived with no damage whatsoever. It came sealed (closed) with everything that was listed. The WINGS album comes with a photo book, cd, and a photo card (pc). The photocards are randomly picked, you get 1 of 8 ( there are 7 individual pc's and one group pc). In my case, I pulled my bias, Yoongi. (Sadly, I couldn't take a good picture of the photo book, hence the weird picture with some photos included in the album, I tried to show it but couldn't - just trust that it's there)

Overall, I recommend purchasing the WINGS album from here because it's the official/real album, comes sealed with everything listed, and the packaging protects the album from damage that can occur during shipping.

Warning: The only downside is that you cannot pick what version you want. The album is randomly selected, so if you're looking for a specific one - either hope you get lucky or purchase from somewhere else. Just a heads up.

It's Official and Good Packaging!

loved it, but I should have paid more to gat a performance video if they have it, but its still good.

It's perfect, i didn't know if it was going to come with a photocard because it didn't say in the description but it did! I got the album 'I' and the photocard was a group.

Perfect

I didn't really expect anything but the CD. I did hope for a photocard and it did come with one! Im glad also because this is such an iconic album

BEAUTIFUL

This album improved my life 10/10 would recommend. BTS did: that!

Iconic album

beautiful album itself! some of my favorite songs of bts too, i got version w, so that was pretty good considering i am hobi and jin biased. i got a tae photocard :) the album though, arrived slightly damaged. there are marks from the actual box on the front and back. there are also scratches (?) on certain places.

beautiful album, arrived slightly damaged though?

Love the album... I even pulled hobi for my fist time!!! But I'm a bit disappointed that it came with a lot of damages

Brought this for my friend who is a BTS fan and she loved it. CD came with pictures of BTS members.

Good songs and pictures.

it came in perfect condition and with everything included however it arrived 3 days late.

bts wings album

Love the songs and concept, but my album came damaged on both the outside and the inside?? I've had experience with damage on the outside of albums, it is bound to happen sometimes, but the inside was also damaged which is new for me.
