Works great. There is a little safety latch that you need to move with your thumb in order to use the shears. They fit nice in your hand and are easy to use.

I've been using this pruner for some time now. It cuts very well and it's solid and well made. Easy to grip in your hands and work with.

Just used this inexpensive pruner and was pleasantly impressed how well they worked! I was able to cut through smaller branches with relative ease and also was able to cut off older branches of 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch without mush force. The cutting edges stayed together to make clean cuts. I have used pruners 2-3 times more expensive that did not work as well. Even if these give out after a year or two it will be well worth it. Will buy another pair soon!

Pleasantly Surprised

Expert Gardener Bypass Pruner is a must have outdoor item.  I used it a lot this pass summer trimming around my house.  It's not heavy and easy to use.  Glad I purchased it.  Will for sure be using again in the spring.

This bypass pruner works well but I felt it is a little bit too big for my hand.

I used this to do a lot of pruning and it did a good job. I feel it may not be as sharp as it once was so it may wear out faster than more expensive tools.
