Natural Ingredients

I use this for my own hair (adult female) as it is non-drying and non-toxic. I'd been doing the "no poo" plan for half a year- using NOTHING at all on my hair- but it's very thick in the back and seems to take hours to rinse. I use this once or twice a week to remove just enough of my natural hair oil that my hair is easier to rinse and dry, without irritating my scalp into producing more oil! I have gotten it in my eyes, so I can attest to the fact that it's "NO tears". It's also very gentle, doesn't dry out my skin like some soaps, and I use it as a body wash on days when I do my hair- keeps me clean all over. Very good product- I would trust on my children.

Good for grown-ups, too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Baby Bee Shampoo and Wash - Calming a favorite bath time product in our home. For my daughter with super sensitive skin, this product is a life saver. It also works great on her long think hair. This is always a repeat purchase for our family.

Great Product

burtsbees.com

My, now 3 year old, son had very sensitive skin as a baby. After trying popular body washes that all were a fail we tried Baby Bee and he had no reactions. It smells like honey and leaves no residue. I'm pregnant with baby #2 and am stocking up on baby bee products. I recommend it to any one with a baby, sensitive skin or not!

Best baby wash!

I have a sulfa allergy, so I need something all natural. That's a lot harder to find than you'd think! This smells good and leaves my hair baby soft and fluffy. :) And it doesn't break my piggy bank. Thank you! <3

Great!!

Good shampoo wash with calming and relaxing qualities and effects. Better value for the money than other products. Can be used as a shampoo and body wash with the same effects. The product is gentle to the skin and it will not produce rashes. Good aromatic product.

Burt's Bees - Shampoo & Wash Original -Calming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a mom of 3 teenagers and I'm the one with the most sensitive skin! The Calming Wash really does calm my skin. Other cleansers leave me either too oily or too dry. This one softens my skin and minimizes redness. And I've tossed my shampoos and conditioners. I now use this to clean my hair every few days. I have long, thick, curly hair and the Calming Wash keeps my hair shiny and manageable - no more tangles or frizzy hair.

Calms my sensitive skin and leaves my hair shiny

Cleans well and leaves my baby smelling absolutely divine!!! I wish there was a matching scent for their dusting powder, but this scent is complimentary to the original scent.

Wash-a-bye Baby!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this for my 1 year old's baths. Smells nice and gets the daycare dirt off. It doesn't foam up as much as a bubble bath as the other Burt's Bees products, but still a solid choice.

Great for Bathtime!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This calming wash is still nice and gentile on skin , like the burts bees original baby wash(and tear free!). It has a very nice smell. Lathers well in our toddler's hair. We did wish it produced more lasting bubbles when poured directly in the bath, but just for a fun bubble bath...maybe that's what you can make next -a bubble bath!
The wash works great!

GOOD PRODUCT

Ashlee M.

We received lots of different bath products at our baby shower, and started using this after finishing a bottle from another brand. Shortly after we switched to this, I noticed the backs of my hands were breaking out in eczema (which hasn't happened to me since I was a hairdresser years ago). I also started to notice my baby's skin was drier than normal, red and he had eczema splotches on the back of his arms, shoulders and thighs. After a few days I realized this was the only new product in our routine that both of us were touching during bath time. I immediately stopped using this, and both of our skin completely cleared up within a day or two. I'm not sure what ingredient in here could be causing the irritation, but I would NOT recommend this to anyone with eczema prone skin or sensitive baby skin! I have 3 large bottles of this that are headed to the trash bin! Bummer Burt's Bees!!!

broke baby and I out in eczema!
