[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a Christmas gift so it hasn't been opened yet. It looks like a well made train set and I am hoping it will give years of fun!

The train set was a big hit with my grandson (and my cat too). Very easy to set up and it ran perfectly. The tracks are easy to assemble and will work on a low pile carpet.
This was bought to replace a 20 year old Bachmann set that was damaged by water and 20 years later the quality is almost the same.
I would recommend adding the 4 piece straight track set if you plan on using around a Christmas tree.
