Great concept for gamers.  Sleek design makes it easy to transport because it doesn't take up a  lot of space.  Bought for son who is a advert gamer.  He loves it because he can access his games from his PlayStation 5  from his I phone.  My only caution is to make sure you read the box carefully because they make 2 different versions of the same product one for Android phone users and one for IPhone users.  Had to return the first one because I bought the wrong version.

Great product I love it when I play my game in my phone

I purchased this product on sale. The listing was very vague on whether I was receiving the 1st or 2nd version. I ended up receiving the first edition. The second edition supports having a case on your phone - cases don't fit in the 1st version. The Backbone app (not required) requires a subscription, but it is very cheap and absolutely worth it. If you are looking at this product, I highly recommend you buy the second version (unless you get a great deal on this product). The Playstation color scheme and buttons are very nice. I like the texture of the controller. This gaming controller has finally made mobile gaming enjoyable for me. I mainly use it for Minecraft, Rocket League Sideswipe, Nvida Geforce Now. and PS Remote Play. Speaking of Nvidia, the Backbone app has a dedicated browser for Nvvidia Geforce Now. I don't have the Geforce Now subscription, but Rocket League and other games work great on it (just play early in the morning to avoid the long queue unless you buy the Geforce Now membership). There is also a social platform similar to Xbox in the Backbone app. You can add friends and get alerts when your friend it playing. One major feature is you can live stream to Twitch without any other software. You can record video and take a screenshot with the press of a button. There are two option for recording. You can start a recording, or you can record the last 30 seconds similar to the Nintendo Switch. The passthrough charging is a great feature. It even adds a 3.5 mm audio jack back to the iPhone! Overall, this is an amazing product that has transformed mobile gaming.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was really nice quality and setup. I do recommend fast wifi. You’re able to play PlayStation and Xbox. Although I must say it has to connect to your PlayStation (which powers it on to play) but Xbox games can be played with wifi or data anywhere!

Handy Gadget

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kid likes it. It works as it should. The only downside is  his hands cramp after an about an hour of usage because he have pretty big hands. He's not much of a fan of having to constantly take his phone in and out of the case to hook it up to the device. He also had a little trouble with the initial setup. However it's a great alternative to the ps portable and the price is right. You can use it anywhere and it still works well.

Works fine but Uncomfortable for larger hands

This was a little complex for my son. It didn’t come with instructions on how to set it up. Once we figured it out, my son was not interested in keeping, so we returned it.

There was nothing wrong with the item, but for a 9yr. old this was a little confusing for him.

Not For My Son

Bought this for my husband because he is gone all week long and thought he would like to play his games while he was away. He used this for about a week and decided it was just easier for him to bring his PS5 controller and use a tablet to play during the week instead. He said it was okay, but a little difficult to learn the controller once he was used to the PS5 controller.

Ended up returning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product did not work as it should. It did not stay connected, but would connect and disconnect over and over. This made it impossible to use the controller to play mobile games. It was fresh out of the box, never used. For the price, I was not happy to receive a defective product. However, the feel of the buttons was nice, the controller was very pretty, and the way it felt in the hands was satisfying. I also liked the Backbone app. I just wished it worked as it should.
