Great Gazebo, and went together great.  I had a couple damaged pieces from shipment, and called customer service, got someone I could understand, and she had my replacement parts shipped out same day no questions asked.  

Very impressed and will recommend backyard discovery to anyone i know looking for a Gazebo!

Started a few months ago on building my a little oasis in my backyard. An extension of my house! Searched and researched so many Gazebos and finally decided on this brand. Could not be anymore happy with the look and quality. Took longer to put together so I would recommend using the installers. Well worth the money.

Exactly What I envisioned!

Beautiful gazebo, sturdy, and will last forever! I love sitting under it in the rain with our gas firepit.
My husband, son and I assembled it in 2 days. We are pros now and could assemble them much faster now that we know what we are doing. LOL Follow the directions to the tee as far as measurements when assembling the roof to make sure it is square. All the holes lined up, the pieces were marked. The one thing I would have liked is a touch up pen. Some of the wood was scratched and the really light color shows through under the roof- would be nice to cover those up. You need an impact drill for concrete slab and a tall ladder at minimum. We used a scaffold which was amazingly helpful for all aspects of assembly- instead of moving a ladder around all the time. 
The metal roof drains under the trim, though, which I thought was weird- to have it all go down metal, then under a metal piece that is placed over the wood edges. It seems like that might wear own the wood all around the roof.

Excellent finished product, we are really happy with it, looks amazing, just need to ensure you plan the build and it needs two people.

Gazebo looks great.  Installation is time consuming but well worth once complete.  Most certainly need at least 3 to 4 people to raise the roof panels.

Amazing Gazebo

To start, I am not a carpenter but am handy with tools.  I was a little concerned that I was taking on a little too much with this 24x12 Gazebo.  I could not have been more wrong.  The directions were direct and detailed but simple to understand.  The hardware was well marked and separated into small bags.  All parts were well marked and in good condition.  The sheet metal parts were sturdy and arrived without bends or scratches. My wife and I built this unit in about 2 weeks.  It could have been less but we only worked 3 hours per day. I purchased this to enclose my well water reverse osmosis system.  I am extremely pleased with the quality of the parts and materials.  All direction were right on and the parts were all cut perfectly.  I honestly have no negative comments.  It was a pleasure to build, the price was reasonable and the result was exactly as I expected. I have even recommended this unit to my friends and family with the hope that they will invite me to help them.

Great Experience From Start To Finish

I purchased this gazebo a few weeks ago. It was very well built, and I'm very happy with the product. I decided to make it a permanent screen house by adding walls to the gazebo. I think it turned out very well.

Loved the cedar color.

Would have been a five except for installation part. Got a refund, which was prompt, due to problems in dealing with the 3rd party company. The quality of the gazebo is excellent but expect a solid weekend to put it together with 3 people. Parts are bagged according to steps and the instructions are clear and detailed. Follow the directions and take your time and you will have a really nice structure to be proud of. Be sure to note that the gazebo comes stained but lacking a preservative coating.  I went with a darker stain/preservative and it looks great!  So bottom line is I would buy again.

Experience with receiving and assembly on gazebo.

All the boxes came very quickly and had no damage. Assembly was straight forward and the instructions were clear. I had one issue and Backyard sent a new part within 3 days,. Great customer service! The metal roof panels were slightly bigger than the instructions stated, but everything went together well. Pay attention to the instructions that say you need 3 people for lifting up the roof. The gazebo looks beautiful!

Great product, instructions well done

We really love our Gazebo. I can't say there weren't a few challenges putting it all together but having a construction background did help.  A few pieces came in damaged and customer service was incredible and got the replacement parts to us very quickly.

Very good product.

Save yourself a lot of time and money and build your own. This is all cheap 1" wood. You have to spend an hour finding 5 different numbered boards, numerous numbered nuts and bolts, to bolt them all together to make what should be just a 2x6x14 to save them on shipping costs. Wood scratches and mars easily when assembling making it look terrible before it's even up. Sheet metal is cheap and thin and arrived dented. Nothing lines up like it's supposed to  cheap 1" wood warped and bowed immediately after short, which took an hour to sort into numerical pikes of wood and hardware. I am amazed at all the 5 star reviews, they must be fake. I'm a contractor and could have bought nice redwood and sheet metal and been done eith my own in a two days. 6x6s are fake and hollow inside, pre drilled holes don't line up, metal sheets don't line up. This was a mistake.

Very cheap material and a nightmare to assemble
