20 x 12 Cedar Pergola

Every hole lined up perfectly minus the top  Perlins. No big deal with them. Wife helped with a little bit of holding beams and I completed it in about 9 hours. 2 person job would be 6 easy.

I bought this in spring 2024 and my husband and I installed it in February of this year. We had a concrete slab poured and attached the metal plates to it after building the pergola. This past weekend we had an EF-1 tornado come through our property, winds were estimated at 110 mph, this pergola is still standing and unscathed!!! We had 30 foot trees uprooted and thrown to the ground. We are very impressed with the quality and build of this structure, 100% recommend!!!

Survived a Tornado!

I bought the pergola/arbor a month ago. Directions were very clear! All boards, bolts, screws, nuts and washer were labeled.  Other than sealing the boards, the actual construction was completed in ONE DAY.  We are one young man and one 70 yr old short woman. If we can do it, anyone can handle it. It looks fantastic. The grapes have been 
planted by each post. We just need to string some led lights. ,

We are very happy with this purchase except a couple small items. Instructions were very good. One thing I noticed is that the instructions from the BILT app are a little backwards compared to the printed instructions. One would have a board right side up and the other would have it right side down. Fine, as long as you stick to one set of directions. Everything lined up very nicely except for a couple corbels and most of the 2x2's on top. I would say that only 25% of the 2x2 holes lined up, but not sure if there is a way to improve that. Most of the lumber was surprisingly straight except for the 2x2s, especially the posts!
