The Atlantis wooden swing set is chock full of features but still fits in smaller yards. It has an awesome upper clubhouse with bay windows and balcony. Down below there's room for a sand box and a snack / activity shelf lets kids play and sip some refreshments at the same time. A flat step entry ladder and solid rock wall allow climbing to be easy or challenging. The 8' speedy slide is safe and fast. There are two belt swings and a trapeze so three can swing at once. This kids' swing set will be fun for years to come!

I bought this for my son on his 4th birthday. He absolutely loves it and I can't wait to see his imagination soar as he's playing pirates, looking for dinosaurs and going down the "super speed slide"!  

As a single mother, I spend hours researching what would be the best and most affordable for my budget.  I had initially tried to purchase this same set through walmart.com because it was cheaper.  However, it was not in stock (and we would have had to pick it up from the store).  They also could not tell me when it would be in stock.  I received a coupon from Backyard Discovery's mailing list and it made the play set cheaper than what I would have paid at Wal-Mart.  The fact that it was then delivered to my home was a bonus too!  

Myself, my mother and a friend of hers put this play set together.  Thanks to the instructions and similar minds, we only had to redo about 3 pieces that were initially put on backwards.  I was worried at first that it would be difficult to do without a strong (or tall man).  But we completed the project in a day and a half.  It probably could have been done in 1 day, but we couldn't build in the dark.  

We reveled in the accomplishment of completing the project on our own and in a short time frame.  Thank you Backyard Discovery for a great play set that is easy to build, no matter your gender or age and that it is also affordable and sturdy!

Easy Build & Son Loves It!

Purchased in May/delivered June 2018. Very easy shipping process. All pieces were clearly marked and instructions very easy to follow. A friend and I were able to put it together in about 7 hours. 

I made a few modifications to suit my yard and how I wanted the set to work. I moved the slide and the ladder but it was pretty easy to do.

My daughter (2yo) absolutely loves the set and was so excited when she saw it the first time. really happy with the purchase and experience overall.

Very Happy

Great Swing Set. Took some time to put together with so many parts and hardware. Instructions although complete still challenging to follow. A few mistakes corrected along the way and a few days assembly and the swing set was assembled. My grandchildren are enjoying and I recommend this product. Great price for the value.

Atlantis Swing Set

This swing set is fabulous. Sturdy, nice size climbing wall, ladder & slide plus fun lunch counter & nice wood roof (other brands had cloth). The windows were also a hit with our 3 1/2 year old. She is the perfect age to successfully climb and use all pieces of the set. Our 1 1/2 year old loves it too but of course needs help. 

It is pretty hard to assemble. Took two days.

Would have appreciated a baby swing included instead of hanging bars.

Decent. Instructions can be tough to follow but manageable. Time consuming  def need two people to build or move. Some boards came warped or not drilled and coded on all sides. Otherwise not bad. Kids love it

Decent for the price

We've had the swing set built for about a month now and our 3 year old is absolutely in love with it.  It was easy to build, but plan for it to take you several days.  Feels sturdy once assembled.

The wood has been stained but not sealed at the factory, so beware that you have to seal it yourself before you assemble it to keep the warranty.  That's a surprisingly difficult task given how many pieces there are.  I don't see why it could not be sealed at the factory.

The wood is a little bit softer than I was hoping for, but it's still a good swing set.

Great swing set!  Involved prep and assembly.

If you are not great at putting stuff together DO NOT GET THIS. This takes a couple people who won't fight to put it together. Half the time is just looking for the pieces you need. The instructions are iffy at reading. But once together this thing is solid and looks beautiful. Took a while to get to the house also. If you can and are willing I'd find a company to come put this together for you.

Pain to put together.

We bought this a few weeks ago, and decided to build it ourselves. My kids have loved playing on it, and ask to be out on it all the time. It is up and safe, but there are many problems that I ran into while assembling it.
Most of the steps in the build instructions are easy to follow, and provide helpful tips about orientation of the materials for future steps. But too many steps (as in more than zero) make you rely on the pictures in order to orient the material in the correct manner. For instance the tower portion is built as two halves, that then get placed together to form the box. But there are holes in two of the boards that need to line up across from each other, and be in the correct spot in relation to where the rest of the tower will be.
At least 6 of the ends of boards were split when installing the lag screws into them. Even pre-drilling, which wasn't always part of the instructions, didn't stop the boards from cracking.
The number of tools required/recommended was not correct. The glaring omission was the use of a crescent wrench. There are nuts that need to be tightened. Nuts in recessed holes, and hard to reach nuts inside the metal pipes that attach the large swing. Without a wrench, hand tightening is not going to get the play set safely assembled.
The instructions end by saying that the warranty could be void if the stakes are not put into the ground and attached to the play structure as shown. Only two of the stakes have a lag screw for attaching. The other 4 have bolt and bolt caps. The problem being that there are no holes in the boards that should accept these bolts. More drilling through boards in order to not void a warranty. No pictures of where on the board to attach to, simply an overhead view of the structure with arrows for the stake locations. How high up the board are they to be? Suppose you should just guess on that.
I assume that if "professionals" assemble the play set there are special tools used and special knowledge used to better quickly assemble. For me it took 10 days to assemble. Probably a total of 25 hours to get it up and playable.

Self build not recommended

Wood is flimsy. Screws aren't correct length throughout project, if you don't believe me see the other reviews from experienced carpenters. As other reviewers mentioned make sure to put weather protection on right away. Some wood splintered during assembly. It's a pandemic-it was in stock. Not a quality piece this will not last very long our children are currently 2 1/12 and 6. It's already too small for the 6 year old. I wish I could get my money back. I gave it two stars because I was warned well enough with the other reviews and bought anyway.

Probably not our best decision

Extremely disappointed. The overall durability of this set can't handle a child that is 7 years old. I doubt this set will last us much more than two summers as core supports beams are already wearing down. The quality of this brand in past years was much more durable.
