The Backyard Discovery Oakmont Cedar Swingset has some really neat features that make it great for smaller yards but keep the kids playing all day long. First, the raised fort has a colorful awning and front wall with white trimmed window to make a cool clubhouse-like area up top. Down below there is another fort, with front wall, window and real door! The side snack window has built-in bench just outside. Out on the swing beam there are two belt swings and an acrobat bar for plenty of swinging and clowning around. A standard stepladder gets the kids to the upper fort and the eight-foot speedy slide zips them back down again.

My husband used two weeks to install it. However, he just spent about two hours some day in these two weeks. It looks nice after finishing. One piece of wood was broken during installation, but others are fine.

It is good.

I bought this item a mouth ago and i'm very glad I did it. The delivery was very fast and the installation very easy. It takes about 10 hours to assemble.

Great purchase

Well we had something like this one, similar but different.  I can't remember the name exactly.  We bought it OVER 12 YEARS AGO!  Still standing even after one of our trees rotted and fell on it.  Put it together and it'll last forever even though it's officially a 5 year warrantee.  We planned on treating the wood with stain to protect it but were too busy running after the kids and it still lasted just fine.  Kids are all grown up now and can't fit so I'm stuck with finding the torx adapters to take it down (lost them in the garage).  But it's been a great great product.  I would recommend any Backyard Discovery products to anyone with little toddlers.  Took a while to assemble, but instructions are clear and they have loved it for many years.  Totally worth the investment.

I got this set for my 7 yr old daughter (she's a tall, skinny 7) she LOVES it!!! It is super cute and well worth the price. No doubt that more expensive sets are nicer but I definitely feel like this one is worth the money!!! I'm a 40 yr old female and I built this set with the help of another female in an 8 hour day. No clue what I was doing but if you're actually paying attention to the directions it's pretty easy (hole placement, etc) NOTE: pretty silly mistake but I missed the bit for the power drill and built it with the hand tool!!! Otherwise, I could've cut out a couple of extra hours!!! CUTE SET AND WORTH THE PRICE!!

Better than expected!!!

At this price point you won't get anything better. My two year old absolutely loves it. I wouldn't recommend for children older than 9-10 years old as it is not meant for larger kids but it's perfect for toddlers and young kids!

All pieces were included in the box including many extra pieces of hardware.  My brother and I did the install and it took us 9 hours and 20 minutes from the start of opening the box to attaching the anchor stakes.  I highly recommend you take everything out of the box and pile them in organized piles. Some are hard to read the making so we used post it notes to mark each part with its number and this made it much quicker on finding parts during install. The instructions were easy to follow and only vague in a few places. We never had to back out any screws and all the guide holes were in the correct places. Overall I'm very satisfied with what I received for the price.

Great swing set for young kids!

I recently assembled this playset. The quality of the wood is a little more on the soft side but once the playset was together, it's very stable. Assembly with 2 people took approximately 8 hours with no breaks. The instructions are very easy to follow. On the previous day, I separated all of the boards by their letter and number. This helped greatly. All of the hardware is clearly marked and in separate bags, which I really liked. My 2 and 5 year old really love it.

Good quality for the price

My son in law put it together himself. Was easy to install, the instructions were easy to follow. Has a solid construction. My grandson thinks it is awesome he loves it.

good size for a average size backyard

This is a great swing set for the price, we did site to store for free shipping. Unbelievably small box 9ft by 2ft maybe, tons of pieces in the box but easy step by step instructions that are a must follow. Overall it is perfect for price, I was worried it was going to be alittle smaller than was hoping for but it meet my expectations. The only negative thing is the slide. It is a 3 section slide and it is very small.

Great swing set for price

Still waiting for the swing set to arrive at Site To Store. The first one we picked up last week was damaged along the entire side of the swing set, the box was damaged, and missing a lot of hardware. Arrival Failure.

I'll be glad to give an honest assessment once we receive one that is not damaged.

Piece of crap! not very sturdy or built well at all. If you have small kids 6-7 years old might last for a while. If you have kids 9- 10 or over don't waste your money. If your getting it to last as your kids grow, it won't make it that long.  I'll be surprised if it lasts the first year! You would think Walmart would have better merchandise as this cost over $400.00 and 2 days to assemble.  As I said, piece of crap.
