Nice size fort allows several children to play at one time. Lookout spot has already proven to be a huge hit! Very sturdy construction. Picnic space is larger than pictures portray which is a big bonus! We have only had the swing set for a few weeks and the kids get on it everyday. We live in southeast Texas and high wind storms happen often. A huge storm blew through the weekend after we put it up and it held through 60 mile an hour winds without a problem. Take the time to sort all of the pieces in alphabetical and numerical order. That saved us a ton of time. We did not have to hunt for pieces. It took us 16 hrs with one drill. Would have gone so much faster with one more drill.

Kids adore this set

My husband and I purchased this set for our two kids, ages almost 8 and 4, for Christmas. It was delivered the day after Christmas and took us about a week to build, but the kids were SOO happy with it - they would stay outside until after it was dark every day to play on it! The assembly is no joke; it took four adults the better part of five days to get it all together. But my husband and my dad (both engineers!) actually enjoyed figuring it all out and making it happen! It's definitely worth it to take all the parts & lumber out of the boxes and organize it a bit before you start building. That really does expedite each step because it's easier to collect your supplies. Overall, instructions are pretty clear - we only had a couple things we had to undo and correct - and the structure itself is both beautiful and fun. Our oldest (almost 8) can do everything on it with no problem and still has plenty of room to grow into it. Our 4 year old can't do the monkey bars yet, but LOVES the swings and being able to climb up to the fort multiple ways. They spend time on it every day and are enjoying having their friends over to play too :) 
For any adults wondering, this set is definitely a good size. My husband can do the monkey bars without his feet touching the ground and both he and I can stand up inside the main fort without hitting our heads! The smaller, shorter section is a little low for an adult, but both our kids have no problems.

Awesome play set!

We bought the SkyFort II about a month ago, and our kids absolutely love it, rain or shine my kids are on it! We loved a few different sets from this site but ultimately chose the sky fort II because of the features it had. Our kids ages are 9m, 2y, 6y, 9y and 11y and there is something for all of them with this model. Shipment was fast and delivered right in our driveway, it came in 4 separate boxes with all of the parts labeled and easy to find. Total installation was approximately 14 hours for my husband and I, simple and self explanatory; easy to read instructions. I would recommend this to anyone. My advice to those buying this set: keep everything from the numbered boxes together in piles as the instructions reference the boxes they come in.

Great addition to our yard!

It took us two full days to put a Thompsons Water Seal on every board. Then it took three more days to build the playground. Follow the instructions carefully and you will have no issues. Keep your lists from each box and keep all those boards in the boxes because it makes it easier to find specific boards. So far it has been great. The kids love it! Just another incentive to enjoy time outside in the fresh air.

Shipping was faster than expected. They sent an email 4 days after it shipped with all of the requirements prior to installation. It's a lengthy list that cost us $2500 to do and should be provided prior to purchasing. The freight company (Estes) left the 800lbs pallet halfway in the street even though i was there and asked for it to be moved onto the property. The installation was fantastic!!! John exceeded all of our expectations and the swing set looks great!

A few hurdles along the way

Excellent product. Well labeled. It's no joke of a job, but if you have an extra pair of hands you can get it done. Took us about 20 hours, start to finish. Best advice is have two drills going at all times and spend some time sorting out all the wood and hardware by step. We spent about 3+ hours filling our garage floor and then when it was time to assemble we flew through the pages.

Happy in Illinois!

This is a beautiful and very large play structure. The wood is clear white cedar stained a nice red cedar colour. Every price was perfectly cut and drilled and everything aligned correctly as described in the giant instruction book. The wood is super dry, and white cedar is a VERY soft and light weight wood so I was a bit concerned about how solid everything would be. Once fully put together (about 20-25 man hours over the course of 3 days) it is shockingly solid and stable. Some of the peices seem a bit slender and flimsy but, so far everything has stood up to the 2 kids and it is designed for small children after all. A beautiful play set at a very fair price.

Better than expected play structure, kids love it.

My daughter is absolutely in love with her new playset!   The shipping was a tad late that's why I gave 4 stars.  It took around 15 hours to put together.  Downloading the BILT app is highly recommended.  Worth the investment!   Daughter is always wanting to be outside on her new play set

Worth the time and money!!

Took my husband and 2 helpers 20-22 hours to assemble. Some wood was chipped... Some directions were hard to follow which lead to them having to back track and take sections apart. Also they used both the Spanish and English instructions... But at one point the two instructions were using completely different parts.

It's very sturdy... Lots of room... We had a picnic with 2 adults and 2 toddlers.... The slide is not what I expected... Not as heavy duty... But VERY FAST.

Few problem parts

I wanted to love this product so much.  But I'm SO disappointed to report that after less than a month of use, the screws that hold the flooring are literally all breaking.  Just tonight I pulled out over ten screws that were popping up and could seriously injure a child.  Replacing the screws isn't even an option because they're literally broken with the tips remaining in the boards.  My husband did and amazing job building it over the course of a long weekend, he estimates 24 hours, alone!  It looks beautiful from a distance but it makes me sick to think 1.  The money we invested thinking this would be a long lasting swing set is blown and 2.  The hours he spent in it, what a waste.  I won't have him waste another minute trying to fix it.  There are boards that are already warping too-  on the top of the picnic table and on the top viewing deck.  Such a disappointing purchase.  We should have gone with the Gorilla Playset that we've had in the past and held up amazingly.
