Sweetwater Playhouse

Overall the quality of the product and building materials is high. Assembly can be done by one adult but is quite lengthy.
Some concerns include:
Many holes were not pre-drilled on the panels and required using a drill to prevent cracking.  This should be systematically indicated. 
There is a strong smell from roof  paint and wood panel coating which lingers for a long period.  If using indoors it could be a problem for young children and others. The product should clearly indicate what chemicals were applied and if playhouse suitable for indoor use.

Great Playhouse despite tricky assembly.

BILT

If you can assemble IKEA, you can assemble this playhouse. I opened the box, moved the pieces into place on patio, got my tools, and got to it. Pre-drilling will make your life easier, as will a couple of clamps to hold things in-place (if you are doing it solo). Assembly straightforward, as all pieces are well-marked. It took me a leisurely day, as I had other distractions going on. Granddaughter LOVES it; we added serving pieces and fake food so she could 'cook' and serve.

My wife was right - great value for the money

I couldn't be happier with our Backyard Discovery Sweetwater Playhouse. It has quickly become the centerpiece of our backyard and a place where my grandchildren's imaginations come alive every time they visit. The quality is excellent—sturdy, charming, and thoughtfully designed—and it looks even more adorable in person than in the photos online.
My grandchildren absolutely love it. From the moment it was assembled, they claimed it as their own little home-away-from-home. This Christmas, they took things to a whole new level by decorating it for the holidays. They hung garland and bright red bows, placed a beautiful wreath over the front door, and—even more unbelievably—put a tiny Christmas tree inside! Seeing their excitement as they proudly showed off their perfectly festive “Christmas cottage” melted my heart.
The Sweetwater Playhouse is more than a toy—it's a magical place where countless memories are already being made. If you're considering it, don't hesitate. It's well worth it and has brought so much joy to our family, especially during the holidays.

A Magical Little Playhouse—A New Family Favorite!

My kids are loving this play house. The working doorbell is super cool! And they had fun picking out pots and plants for the front planters (pots not included). The windows are a great size for air flow and we have even set up a "cafe" in the back where they cook and serve lattes. Assembly took a few hours, but it was straightforward and the web app helped a lot.  Thanks for a great product!

2 and 5 year old love it

My 5 year old daughter and 1 year old son LOVE this wooden playhouse! Some of the features they enjoy the most include the working doorbell, the sink/stove, the flower pots out front, and the telephone. Assembly was surprisingly easier than we thought. It took us (two adults) about 3 hours to put together while watching our two children (many interruptions!). This playhouse was a great purchase for our family and is well worth the cost!

Awesome playhouse!

Got this house in addition to the Belmont Swingset and I could not be more pleased with my purchase!! My 2 year old is loving her playhouse and the kitchen. Perfect size for her and my 7 year old daughter to play in. The ringing doorbell is a huge hit with them! This has helped to create the perfect backyard are for them and will continue to do so for years to come.

White stain is discoloured from sap. The company has offered to cover the cost of stain and sealant from home depot for me to apply. That's nice, just a bit of a project!
