This bird feeder is made of high quality material and should last a long time. Definitely worth the money.

It is actually squirrel proof. Just keep far enough away from branches and objects where they could jump onto it.
This is my third. They last years but mine all rust put from moisture where the pole goes into the base despite the plastic cap on the pole they use.
They are not cheap but I have saved money without birdseed theft from squirrels. I don't mind the squirrels getting seeds dropped by birds on the ground.
Best feeder I have ever had and that's why I am a return customer.

Squirrel Proof

My parents had one in CT and it survived many winters. In GA now and this new model is built the same but with metal, not plastic, perches. Great value.

Durable feeder

I knew I loved this bird feeder the minute I took it out of the package.  Easy to assemble, high quality materials and just looks really sturdy in the ground.  

The birds, however, took a little longer to decide they love the feeder.  It took 24 hours for a bird to land on it, and it was a full 48 hours before they were using it regularly.  They would fly up to it and they fly away, as if they didn't want to perch on it.  They're doing fine now though!

The squirrels hate it and want me to bring back the old feeder - I have not seen any squirrels successfully get to the food!

The only thing I would change if I could is to have more feeding ports.  I might just have to buy a 2nd one!

The bird feeder is squirrel proof and the birds seem to enjoy the accessibility to the food.  The visibility of the birds feeding is most enjoyable and I am sorry I did not purchase the feeder earlier.

BIrd feeder

Great feeder , it is just as described. Easy to put together and put out in the yard.  Birds  love it, squirrels hate it because they can't get in it.

Birds not Squirrels

This feeder holds a lot of seed and my birds love it!  It's a bit top-heavy and wobbly,  the pole is a tad flimsy and doesn't seat firmly into the feeder.   However, none of that bothers the birds.  They're all over it!
