I installed with cement which wasn't part of the instructions. Without it, the gravel and dirt as recommended would not be enough to hold the pole in the ground. Have already played it for hours. The pole does bend a lot when playing, but it hasn't caused any damage.

Excellent. Be sure to place it where you don't mind losing the grass around it! The whole neighborhood is enjoying the game. Save the rules which make the game more fun for everyone!

Gave this to a 23 year old grandson who had just gotten anew home. He loved the tetherball set, reminded him at an earlier age. So this is fun to play no matter what age. This one is very good

Tetherball set

We have had this for a few weeks and so far it is still standing. We did cement it in to the ground. The pole is in 3 sections and once it is up it wobbles a lot. So far it is ok and the kids play it daily, but I have a feeling that the pole will bend or break before summer is over.
