[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product for free, my son really loves it. This is his first bakugan geogan toy. He love the character swarmer and the green and white color combination. It is very easy to transform by folding up into a exagonal, then flip opens when you put or throw it on the ground like an insect. There was two collector cards that came with it. It is a neat and cool toy, my son wakes up excited everyday  just to play with his new toy. I would definitely recommend this toy.

Bakugan is amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been selected from Spin Master to received BAKUGAN Evolutions GEOGAN from Butterly/ChicAdvidor. I #gotitfree for my Son. He  loved it so much.
The children were very happy when they received it, the goods were well packaged. It is also of good quality. He is big fun of BAKUGAN toys. This toy is 3 toys in one. It comes with seven multi transforming bots each toy is able to transform into a geometric shape or animal, and turns into a final form Bakugan. As a bonus it comes with playing cards and full set of instructions. This toy will keep you guessing on how to put together and change into all the different shapes. Perfect for little boys who like puzzles or card games. The toys can be played together or separate. It can be difficult at first to assemble the puzzle so instructions are helpful. Once you figure each moving part it is pretty entertaining.

Amazing Toy

It is made differently then the other Bakugans we have its a triangle shape and clicks back together effortlessly. Its bery well made seems like a stronger material which we appreciate because you can telll it will not break easily.

Compact and well made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My six year old is obsessed with bakugan, he doesn't quite get the rules of the brawls yet though.
He was so excited to try out the Geogan bakugan, unlike the original round ones, this one is rectangular. It releases perfectly and is fun to put back together. The detailing is great! It's neat how it can power up his future brawls, once he learns the rules.

6 year old loves it!

He was really impressed by the pyramid shape and he loved figuring out how to make it work. He's excited to show it to his friends and teach them how it works. Reading Bakugan cards gets him excited about reading.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kid was entertained for maybe 5 minutes playing with this - we could not identify what kind of animal/insect it was. Other than that, the material is of good quality, and no matter what kind of creature it is - it was cool when it opened up from being in an enclosed form.

Cute Little Toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child really enjoyed playing with the bakugan.  This is unlike any other toy they have.  I love that it is not only a collector item but can be used as a group game.  I like that the magnets in the toy are safely secured under plastic.  My only wish is that it came with more instructions and more pieces, otherwise having just the one bakugan is pretty useless and requires you to invest a lot more to play.  Other than that the quality and effectiveness of the toy are great

It is the same idea but you have a physical toy that transforms making it a lot more fun. Now the only problem is my son wants more so we can see all the cool transformations.

Cool transformation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #FamilyRatedClub is reviewing Spin Master Toy's Bakugan Geogan Rising. Each came with as collectible action figure and trading cards. I was given Amphrog to review. There are over 60 creatures from Vestoria the land they are from.

I had never heard Bakugan (I am shortening it) and neither had my step son (age 7) or his two friends (one 7 one 8). Like most toys the action figure is prominently displayed to entice children. It worked because within moments of the toy leaving packaging it was mailed in, it was snatched from my possession.

Not knowing what it was they ripped it open and typical of kids today in no more than 5 minutes they knew what to do with the action figure.

The Action Figure- a.k.a. the only cool part of this toy. It says collectible but as mentioned there are over 60 and they are still going.
Bakugan are magnetic toys fold into little shapes and then you drop them and they roll out in to their creature. It was cool to watch.

Novelty Wears Off-a.k.a. so what is the point of those cards?
Inside was 2 ability and 1 gateway card. Not one of the kids seemed impressed because they hadn't heard of this toy and didn't know what to do with them.

Google Help!!!!
With the kids losing interest and me not being able to give direction I looked to Google. What did I discover? Its a game. Sold in separate pieces and relying you having friends who are also Bakugan fans who also have a creature to battle yours. From there it went more in depth. Its also a t.v. show on Cartoon Network giving them a built in fanbase.

Verdict- Being a fan is definitely a requirement. Watching the action figure roll out into its creature was creative and amusing but the novelty wears off. Without being a fan of Amphrog or whatever creature you have you are not as invested. Assuming you have at least two kids who are fans or you're willing to buy for the neighborhood it is brilliant marketing.
