These dumbbells are hands down the best value out there. I've built up a full set from 5 to 50 lbs and couldn't be happier. The quality and build are seriously impressive, especially at this price point. If you're patient and wait for sales, and you've got Walmart , you can get these delivered right to your door for around $0.80 per pound — an unbeatable deal. They're tough, durable, and can take a serious beating. Highly recommend for anyone building out their home gym.

Best Value Dumbbells You'll Find

These appear to be well made and sturdy. 45 lbs. is A LOT of weight so don't go this heavy unless you're sure you can safely handle them. Was pleased with the quality but they were a bit pricey. A huge online competitor whose name starts with an A had very similar hex DBs for $21 less, so I had to return them. Wal-Mart is missing out by not price matching IMO.

Liked them

As a previously stated. These are not the same as the ones sold in the store and their size is therefore different so they wouldn't fit on the rack with the other dumbbells. I bought directly in the store. Their quality is unaffected. They are just a different brand and therefore the sizes do not match up with the existing dumbbells I've previously acquired.

Best dumbbell for the buck there is out there and Walmart has them at the best price around.
I bought and use dumbbells made by 4 different manufacturers until I tried these now I have them in 5lb increments from 10-50 pounds. Can not recommend them strongly enough and 90% of my workout is using these dunbbells.

Best value in Dumbbells for the money out there

Good quality weights. The only bead thing is they smell like oil. I have used for about 2 months and smeel hasn't gone away. I haven't tried washing them yet.

These 45 lb dumbells are perfectly balanced, and the grips are easy to hold and will be an excellent addition to any home gym.
  I plan on purchasing a few more of various weights.

Perfect for home gyms

The price of these compared to the "brand names" is a joke which made me wary about the quality of the product. Rest assured, they feel just like the brands that are charging $2  per lb.

Best bang for your buck! Good quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can't beat the price for this dumbbell set. Walmart had the lowest price by far. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because the items smell so bad like a tire shop. I have to leave them in my garage to air out before I can bring them inside.

Overall the dumbbells are a great value for the price I bought when they were on sale but the only thing I do not like about them is this strong smell (like some kind of oil). I've tried cleaning them but the smell persists. All my other dumbbells (different brands) do not have this type of smell. I'm not sure if the smell will go away over time. If not for the smell I would rate these as five star. If you're not affected by smell these dumbbells are a great value for the price.

Nice dumbbells but bad odor

I opened the box and one of the weights was broken. Extremely dangerous. Perhaps a recall should be issued before a weight falls on someone and kills them.
