It is good that it is now back in Walmart.  I just bought 5 sets.  I have been using this type of mason jars for couple of years now.  I love the design of this jar because it is easy to scoop out the food unlike the tall one and the size is good for one serving.  We always cook a lot of soup and we put it all in this mason jars and we just heat it up when we want to eat it.   Some we freeze for future use.    I also love to use this for overnight oats, homemade yogurt, food prep, and for leftover food.

Would love to order about six more sets at the price that I bought for these two weeks ago.canning jars I purchased are perfect for the fruits and veggies I can.

We do some canning of vegetables and fruit preserves. Another reviewer talked about using this size for soups. They look like they'd be great for that purpose - going to give it a try.

Canning jars in different sizes are great for storing various items, for sprouting, for growing herbs, and for making salves

Multiple uses. Smooth on 3 sides for labeling

The package showed up soaking wet and bashed in on one side. The fact that these jars survived the horrible handling by the shipping company tells me that they should be able to stand up to my less rough handling of them.

Good price, good product, bad shipping outfit

These jars for some unknown reason are very hard to aquire. I even looked at walmart.ca previously and couldnt find. Looked everywhere but came across by fluke. I really needed a wide mouth jar of 0.5L that were water/air tite made of glass with glass or plastic lid. No metal. Although i had to purchase separately the plastic lids - these are very high quality. Everything else i tried leaked or didnt fit the requirements

Just the perfect little jars

Ordered 3 of these, received all packed in the same box with sufficient packing material but one box has 2 shattered jars in it. It looks like they might have been broken before they were shipped.
