Fits perfect on my ½ gallon Ball canning jars, although I would not use these for high-temp canning.
I am using them for pickeled eggs in the fridge. I flip the jars each day and I am into day 4, so mine have spent at least 48 hrs upside down in the fridge without a drop of a leak.
I would also use these lids for storage of dry goods like beans, lintils, rice, oatmeal, etc.

Great for pickeled eggs

They're so much smoother than the metal lids and rings.  So for frequent use they're way more agreeable.  They're easy on the hand, since the edges are more comfortable for gripping.   They're truly leak proof, hold up to daily use, they make the jars better stackable, and they're sleekly attractive.  I haven't found a down side.  All my storage jars have these lids now. 

The photo is of our hot cocoa bar.  All our “add ins” were in jars with these lids.  Daily use by kids no less and they're still going strong.

Excellent for frequent use

My new favorite way to store leftovers in my fridge. Wide mouth jars have an opening large enough to fit my hand through for when I'm washing dishes. These plastic lids don't rust or come apart when you open the jar. Two quart (64oz) jars are perfect.

Absolutely awesome! I can jellies and jams quite a bit and when opening one to use, I always dread adding back the ring and using the ring and lid for closure while in the fridge. These screw on mason jar storage lids are handy and easy to use. They make my life easier.

You need this in your life

Ball 6 pack leakproof regular mouth reusable plastic jar lids - these are great! I use them once I open a sealed jar of jam to keep in the fridge, much easier than trying to get the silver lid and ring back on. They also worked out nicely for a little extra jam from my batch that didn't quite fill a full size jar, I filled the jar with the remainder of the jam and didn't process in the water bath, I used these lids and store the jam in the fridge to use first. I didn't need all 6 lids so shared some with a friend!

I like the color but they aren't even close to being leak-proof. Luckily, I didn't trust the leak-proof claim and put this jar of pickled beets for a friend in a sealed bag.
