They fit snug, and are leak proof with a silicone ring insert. Now I don't worry about the lids rusting when storing them in the fridge. I'm greatly satisfied with my purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I priced lids comparable to these and found the Ball brand to be less expensive and equal in quality. I was finding that my existing metal lids, when placed on my ferments, would rust. I'm also trying to avoid plastics. These Ball lids work great!  The seal is thick, and also removable which allows me to soak it in vinegar to remove any lingering smells picked up from the jar contents.  The seal allows for a tighter seal than the plastic lids. The stainless steel will never rust! They wash in the dishwasher just fine! I plan on replacing all of my reusable lids with these. And I found them in store which was a big plus. Superior quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These lids are great!  I didn't realize there is a rubber ring insert you need to put inside, which is provided.  It comes out for easy cleaning.  They are a bit pricey for a set of 3 but I like the 3 I got very much!

Non-rusting

The jar lids are thin, lightweight metal. Suppose to be stainless steel. They do fit well on my jars. Not high quality.  IMO they are not worth the price I paid. I bought stainless steel lids a  few weeks ago from another web store  and the quality was much better for less money. And 
I got 5 at the other .  Well, they will suffice .

NOT WIDE MOUTH LIDS!!!!!!! Ordered wide mouth lids for the wide mouth jars I'd already purchased to organize my pantry staples, faugh! useless regular mouth lids are now a $$.$$ piece of additional clutter.
