I use wide mouth glass jars for food storage, and these stainless steel lids are perfect. I tried copper colored lids before, and while I like the look, the seal isn’t air tight. That’s okay for protein bars in wrappers, but not useful for dry beans or seeds or  leftovers.  These stainless steel lids have a removable soft seal. Easy to wash and dry. No plastic, no problems.

I like using these lids because they are stainless steel and one piece, instead of the two-piece jar lids, which can rust easily. They have not rusted whatsoever so far. I am trying to get rid of all plastic lids, too. I only use widemouth jars because they are so easy to wash. (Your hand can go inside the jar to wash it.) Also, using jars is so much better than using plastic bags or plastic containers. Anything that could be stored in a plastic bag or container can go into a jar! Homemade cookies especially look nice stacked in a jar. They stay very fresh.

Reliable workhorse jar lids

I bought these to use on my storage jars for dry mixes in my pantry. I also use them for jars when I make my coffees. It makes it less messy when I make a shaken espresso and the jar lid is all one piece. Will definitely purchase again.

Don't know how I just learned about these!  Never realized the two piece lid that come with the jars was meant for single use.  Theses work better than originals, but I'm not canning, just storing.

Perfect for Mason jars.

It's a bit expensive for 3 lids, but the quality is excellent. With the included silicone, it creates a perfect seal for any drink. I usually make a matcha latte for carrying around, and it doesn't leak and traps odor perfectly.

Perfect Sealed Lid for Liquid

I am trying to store food in glass containers and avoid  storing food in plastic containers. These long lasting and great quality lids are anesome and economical for glass jars!

Bought these to use with my jars for overnight oats. I dislike the two piece lids that normally come with these jars. I don't use them for canning, so one piece with silicone inner piece is perfect and easier to clean. No leak despite vigorous shaking. Prior two piece lids that came with the jar are annoying because they start to rust with acidic pickling solutions.

Such a huge upgrade from the original lids. I use these for broth and they work great. Mainly got them because I throw them in the dishwasher for easy cleaning, game changer! They are holding up well and look brand new still. I don't use the seals included because I consume what I put in them quickly (resulting in tons of cleaning).

I have not received jar lid with gasket inside.  I didn't even realize they could come this way.  I am using to freeze soups for this winter. Very good seal.  Nice look. Just make sure you know what you are ordering.  I don't canning , so I was not familiar with  lid and rings.  Pictures was very hard to see what I was looking for.  Anyway nice product.  I will see how long they last.

One solid lid for canning jar

it is simply a glass jar with a tight seal lid — the lid is thin metal with a rubber seal inside — this type is often useful if the objective includes removing all the air out of the jar and storing the content for a long period — other lids are available like the masonjarstyle polished steel lids with silicone liners — et cetera

The stainless steel feels nice, however I bought these specifically because the box says 1-piece lid.  It's not.  each lid comes with a separate rubber insert.  I saw absolutely no picture anywhere in the marketing profile on walmart that I purchased from, or on  the literal box they arrived in, that would indicate these are NOT in fact single piece lids.

I do not like the seal when using, they don't feel airtight, they feel improperly seated.

My Mom has some true single piece mason jar lids, also metal but gold colored, so these are what I thought I was getting based on product description and images for product seen on walmarts listing.
