This product is an incredible value. I am extremely pale and typically use high-end tanning products. I decided to give this one a try and it changed my summer. I apply lotion to my hands ankles knees and elbows. Then I apply this using my hands. It gives me such a light warmth to my skin without being like "oh she put fake tanner on." it just looks like a better version of my skin. I do exfoliate between uses. It does not flake off in a weird way either. I've applied this every couple of days basically all summer and I have had no problems, just have to make sure I exfoliate my ankles and knees in the shower.

I love this!  I have tried many self tanners over the years, and this is a definite favorite.  It isn't tinted- there is no color guide, but it is a really great natural tan color when it develops.  Probably the most natural color of all the self tanners I have tried.

This product has improved so much since the last time I purchased it quite a while ago. The color of the lotion is white instead of brown or tan like before. It has no scent which is good because the old one stank. The color and tint was as expected. Good product.

I have used this product for many years.  Highly recommend it.. Used to be able to buy it in the stores. Now all they have is the dark shade available.  So I have to order it now!

The best for pale skin!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Banana Boat self- tanner is the best I have used. Its creamy lotion spreads easily and tans within a couple of hours. No streaks like other products.

I've been using this Tanner for years! I have tried all different brands, including expensive ones, and none compare. It goes on evenly and the color lasts! .

the set could be improved but everything else is perfect I still use it and I have been for several years. the consistency is very creamy and it dries quickly.

This has been my go to self tanner for last few years. It works very quickly, after  3 -4 applications you will have a nice tanned color. Few pointers on applying: 1) be careful to use little less over joints (knees and ankles) because if not rubbed in well, can cause those areas to be darker so I apply to those areas last with smaller amount of cream. 2) wash hands after use or hands will turn a darkened color. There will be a lingering smell after application but not super noticeable. Overall it is very effective at giving me a nice tanned look!

I liked the old formula where the product was brown and you could see where you applied the color.  This one is white in color so it's hard to see where you apply.  Otherwise a great product doesn't leave you orange

Great Self Tanner

DO NOT BUY! As others have also complained, this is an illegal bait and switch! The product shown is brown, brown cap, and is tinted brown. The product shipped to me is blue, blue cap, and it's white lotion! The ingredients are not the same! They are selling you one expensive product but delivering an entirely inferior cheaper product. The blue cap is much cheaper so they're charging more and giving the cheaper item!
