I purchased this product after doing much research on coffee grinders.  Baratza was good quality for the price and also supposedly great customer service.  When the grinder arrived, it was missing a piece - a little rubber foot that didn't stop the machine from working but did cause it to wobble.  To be honest, I was heartbroken.  It is an expensive thing and I was sad it wobbled.  I emailed Baratza and told them of the issue and they sent me a new foot free of charge.  I was very happy with this!  Great product and when things aren't right, Baratza will make it right!  100% recommend!

Great product

A wonderful piece of equipment for coffee lovers. Allows you to control level of grind, motor is smooth and quiet. After a bit of time to get the rubber washer seated correctly it was easy to set up. Glad we added this to our coffee routine.

A must for coffee lovers.

I did a lot of research looking for a coffee grinder.  The Baratza Encore Conical Burr grinder was highly rated via Good housekeeping, consumer reports and many other individuals.  It works well, grinds the beans efficiently for coarse ground cold brew.  I would recommend this to a friend.  Thank you

Very efficient coffee grinder

I like this burr coffee grinder.  I've used the blade grinders previously but they always seem to miss some of the beans and the coffee clumps up due to the heat the blade grinder generates.  This grinds the coffee evenly and without the heat which I like.  If the grind is too fine or inconsistent, it becomes too powdery for drip coffee makers.  This has 40 different grind settings.  No more over ground or under ground coffee!  I would recommend this grinder...it's worth the money.  I checked websites of coffee bean sellers and this was the grinder they had on their website for sale.

This product was recommended by a friend of mine who owns a coffee shop and is a roaster. I have had it for a few years now and I have been delighted with it. Looks fantastic. Grinds the coffee with precision and consistency. Very easy to clean. I cannot recommend it enough.

I bought my Encore in January 2021, it has been excellent and continues to function like new. The grind has been perfect every time. I have used it for Espresso, Drip, and French Press and made great coffee. I use it every day. 
I clean it fairly regularly.
My only quibble is that sometimes grinds get behind the basket and when it is removed and replaced the moving air sends a dusting of grinds onto the counter top; I see this as a small nuisance that is solved with a wipe of a damp cloth.

Excellent grinder

Grinder was fine for grind size above 10 (ten), which is fine for primarily drip and manual brew methods. Clogging tend to occur when filling the hopper or using dark roasts for espresso grind. To minimize clogging, use just enough beans for the pull, start grinder before pouring in just the right amount of beans, or be aware of clogging when using dark roasts.

I'm on my 3rd have the first two replaced.  Everything jams up inside the machine and doesnt dispense to the tray.  Takes forever to clean it out only for it to happen again.  Doesnt matter the type of bean.

It even clogs on the grinder clean pellets!!!

STAY AWAY!!!

Absolute Junk!!!!

I was a fan of the Baratza Encore for 10+ years. I purchased a new one recently because mine was slowing down and it feels like an entirely different product. The consistency of grind size is quite poor, and it reflects in the quality of my pour over. I would no longer recommend this grinder.
