This was a big hit right away. There are a lot of little details and accessories, which kept my kid busy and actually engaged for a while (which is saying something).
I like that it opens up into different spaces, so it doesn't feel repetitive. It encourages a lot of pretend play, and it's easy to switch things around. Assembly does take a bit of time, and you'll probably end up helping with setup. I did it so save time prior to and I definitely do not recommend letting kids set it up. Also, some of the smaller pieces are easy to misplace if you're not careful. It does does come with quite a few pieces extra like: cups, plates, pans, a blender, table, chairs, bathroom decor, etc. which we did not expect but the girls loved all of it and it works perfectly so you do not need to buy more than one gift for this. When the girls are done playing, it's very easy to push together and latch closed to prevent from taking up so much space, this alone make this a new toy repeatedly! Overall, a really fun playset that keeps kids entertained and sparks creativity, just be ready for a little setup and cleanup.

All the accessories and details. Very Lux for the brand. Attention to little details. Great price. Did I say great price…

I haven't assembled it yet because it's for my daughter on Christmas. I have put the dream house together though and it's bigger but easy to assemble. couldn't beat the price and couldn't beat the smile on my daughter's face Christmas morning.

Malibu Christmas Surprise

Granddaughters love this set. As a mom to three adult girls and three granddaughters, I know Barbie. I really know Barbie houses %26 accessories. This Barbie house keeps my grandkids entertained and wasn't hard to set up. All I know is every time I visit, I am asked to play Barbies in this house. I feel like I've played with this house more than my first Barbie townhouse I had as a child!

I gotta give this a 5* because it made my 4yo daughter's Christmas. She was so happy when she opened it and loves playing with it. It is now 7 days since opening, and she can spend upwards of an hour or more playing with it. I think it's overpriced, but my little girl loves it (which means it was worth it in the end). :)

my daughter is going to be so excited Christmas morning!  of course, we havent put it together yet but from looking at it, it looks like an easy assembly and the parts look sturdy like the ones of the barbie house.  i will follow up on this after Christmas morning.

Just the right size!

This dream house is great if you don't have a ton of space but want to get a playhouse for full size Barbie dolls. It also has the ability to close up and store or easily transport if taking with you on a trip or vacation. It includes accessories for kitchen, bathroom and entertainment area and they are all good quality. I highly recommend it.

Great for travel and easy storage

4 yr old granddaughter absolutely loves it and plays pretend with it a lot.  There wasn't room for a full-sized dream house and this works great because it's large when unfolded.

Adorable, cute and stylish house. But it is made so cheap and flimsy that it is hard to close. Some of the built in furniture and pieces connected to the house will just pop off.
