It's adorable and we are so glad she can have tons of fun with Barbie like I did when I was her age. So when I saw that they made a carnival playset for Chelsea,she was all for it! This toy is too adorable! It comes with a Chelsea doll, bumper car, ferris wheel, and an assortment of prizes,booths,and accessories. My daughter loves it! She's able to not only play with Chelsea in the ferris wheel, but Chelsea's friends which we already owned. With the booths and prizes,she was really able to bring this carnival to life. It's now her favorite playset and spends hours having so much fun. I've played with her and totally understand why she loves it so much. It makes playtime truly magical and we are so happy with it. I definitely recommend this adorable carnival playset. It's a great addition to any collection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Chelsea carnival set is a fun addition to the Barbie collection.  The little details made it seem very realistic and true to a real carnival.  My daughter was easily able to get the dolls in and out of the ride making it fun for her to play with independently.  The details in the booths and bumper cars also added to the fun!  It's another great Barbie set!

Carnival Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great addition to play time.  My 3 children have been enjoying espcially the Bumper Cars and Ferris Wheel.  They love putting Chelsea in the Ferris Wheel and rotating it.  Also rotating Chelsea to the top and see which way the Ferris Wheel moves.  They cannot to play with their friends.

Fun Fun Carnival Fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Barbie play set is adorable! My daughter went crazy as soon as she saw it, because it's eye-catching even in the packaging. It took a tiny bit of work to open everything and assemble a few parts (snapping seat belts into ferris wheel, attaching the wheel game), but it was simple. The bumper cars roll smoothly on both carpet and wood flooring. The ferris wheel is a lot of fun to turn, and the spin-the-wheel game actually works! The doll is cute and wears a bright blue bodysuit with a removable skirt. My daughter's favorite part is the small dog that came with it, although she also loves the two teddy bear prizes. I think the balloons and pinwheel are a really unique addition. This is a really fun set because it's easy to set a scene up for all of our Barbies to play in.

A really cute set and the bumper cars are adorable. I would recommend this item to anyone who loves barbie but dosent want 1000 pieces all over. the bumper cars are so cute and they can play with a friend. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ITEM,YOU WONT REGRET IT GREAT CHRISTMAS OR ANY HOLIDAY BIRTHDAY GIFT.

Very Cute set,great for little barbie lovers

Strong plastic with beautiful colours.  Lovely little set, especially the bumper cars. The wheel seats stick and barbie ends up upside down!  The balloon stand just falls over and the balloons end up being lollipops in my kids mouths!  Another barbie in the pack would be more fun so that children can play together instead of just one little barbie with lots of fun fare items.

The packaging stands out quite well, it shows off that famous Barbie pink with good logo placement.
The package images are bright clear and colourful and give good detail of what is in the box and how it looks fully assembled.
the card element of the packaging unfolds into one piece which is good for dismantling and recycling  however you would not be able to reuse it to store the product.
the Ferris wheel is attached with a few little plastic ties, these could be done without as they could easily be misplaced and be a hazard.
on to the elements of the toy, the Chelsea mermaid face hole.
it is very sturdy and a nice design on the card that fits at the front. however, the card itself is too big to sit true on the plastic housing  so it protrudes with bends around the head of the mermaid   overall a very poor fit needing better Quality control.
the Ferris wheel base and seatbelts fit together very well and stay in place. the seats don't articulate very well even with the doll sitting in place so she almost tilts at 90 degrees before self righting. its also annoying that barbie cannot sit in the wheel without removing her peak and sunglasses first.
the wheel of fortune game stall is a very nice piece  it fits together well and the spinning wheel element works properly and can be sun at good speed. the animal prizes are also very well made and detailed and look good assembled on the prize stand together.
the balloon store needs work, it has four holes but you only need three of these   the balloons themselves feel solid apart from the stems which feel a bit flimsy and are not easy to slot into place, over time the plastic will be worn away or they will snap off.
the pinwheel accessory is just ridiculously flimsy and it does not sit properly on the stand   it looks rather sad. remove it/improve it/ or add a third balloon or maybe a cotton candy stick. address that fourth hole, the cash register doesn't attach in any way so maybe address this.
The bumper cars are both very well made, nice colours and wheel action   it is also nice that the steering wheel moves and the heart painted detail is a nice touch.
last but certainly not least is Barbie herself.
the doll fits well with the set and seats well in the bumper cars and Ferris wheel. it would be nice if she could stand unaided.
the painted camera on her torso is not very well done   it has scratch marks and the paint would rub/chip away very easily in no time at all.
the doll is easily poseable and the long blond hair is nicely styled once it adjusts to being out the packaging.
the skirt needs attention, it is an uneven fit varying in lengths the fabric at the hem of the skirt shows signs of fraying even fresh out the box so this probably wont last long at all.
the peak and sunglasses fit well together and sit on her head fairly sturdily.

Overall it could be a good product but it does need work in the areas I have highlighted and there is evidence of poor quality control 
as it is now, I wouldn't buy it or recommend it to anyone but with a few tweaks it would be a very nice addition to the Barbie repertoire.

Room for improvement
