The Barbie you receive is discovered by putting the doll in warm water. The stripe in the ponytail of this doll changes colors when it is placed in cold water. I would recommend saving the cylinder that this doll comes in to store the Barbie, especially if her hair is wet. Beautiful Barbie that is safe to play with in the pool or bath.

And it wasn't an awful mess. Magic coating on Barbie came off easy enough and didn't require much dunking. Daughter had fun with the process and then dressing her and putting her hair in.

But the best part was doing the color reveal for the Barbie! The reveal was done by putting Barbie in water, which is made easy and mess-free by Barbie's packaging being the container you use for the reveal. As a bonus, the Barbie herself is very colorful and special. This toy was a big thumbs up in our house!

I thought this was a real Barbie, it looks like a cheap knock off and the hair is flimsy, cheap and thin. Terrible quality. I would expect a doll like this from the Dollar Store, not Barbie.
