[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very cute doll - I got the one with the brown and pink hair. Her skirt has a split seam, which is a nice little detail. These dolls come with a proper brush with a handle, so you can comb the hair, which is also much better quality than dolls past (I don't think it's polypropylene). Standard 5 points of articulation, but the body sculpting is lovely. The "reveal" is a thin layer of paint that dissolves in warm water. A little water will get inside the body, so make sure to let it air dry. Tiny feet. I'm an adult doll collector, and I'm happy to have her in my collection. Oh - and the plastic tube these dolls come in are great pouring containers for pet baths. So keep that cylinder! It's handy!

She is all about color reveal, color change, and mystery toys right now and this one for sure fits the bill. Because this toy requires the use of water we set her up to use it on the dining room table. I would also recommend putting it on top of a cookie tray or plate to help catch any spills and splashes that will inevitably occur.

The surprise bags with accessories were also fun to open. This is perfect for the pool, bath or water table. My daughter is already trying to find a bathing suit to match her new Barbie.

Amazing fun Barbie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a fun idea, but the white coating can be a mess to get off and difficult to get off the doll. Once it's clean it's okay, but be prepared for drippy coating. All that said my 6 and 11 year olds love them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I opened this with my 4 year old daughter. She loved the process. I think it was a little too messy for her to accomplish, so I helped out. It took extra steps for me to fully reveal/clean the Barbie doll. She instantly fell in love with the thick hair and the hint of pink. She said “I want my hair to match”. Overall packaging was presentable and easy to open. The Barbie doll was very detailed! Perfect parent & child activity!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girls love the excitement that comes from a Barbie Color Reveal doll!  It's exciting to see which doll out of the series you have received.  We do them together at our kitchen island and I love that it's an activity that we can do together, but it doesn't include a lot of planning or too much clean up on my part. I love that these dolls have fun colored highlights in their hair making them beautiful, of course, so but cool and trendy.  Unwrapping each surprise is also a fun process and adding the clothing or accessories to your Barbie to help create her unique look is a fun experience.  One thing that is great and convenient is that Mattel has packaged your color reveal doll in a canister that you will use to complete the color reveal by adding warm water to the canister.  When our reveal is complete, I just toss the canister- no clean up required- making the entire experience fun, but also easy for me as the mom.  Super fun!
