Barbie comes with a beautiful pink sparkly dolphin that serves as a bath squirter as well. The coolest thing about this doll is Barbie's mermaid doll transforms into a dress. It is so easy to do that my daughter was so excited she could do it herself. I would have to say this is my daughter's favorite Barbie. She stated it is the coolest mermaid ever!! Barbie can have endless adventures in the water and on land, this doll is a huge hit at my house.

She can be a mermaid and then within minutes she can become just regular Barbie with legs. The quality of the doll seems very nice. The outfit is made well. They also love her hair. the item was great, ordering it online was not easy. It was available in the store, should have purchased it and saved me the time and effort. Waited several days for it to arrive in the store, then I was emailed it was in, ready for pickup. A short time later I got another e-mail it was delayed, do not come to the store. I went to the store, and I felt if it was not in I was going to cancel the order and buy it in the store. When I arrived it was in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I handed this Barbie Dolphin Magic Transforming Mermaid Doll to my Daughter! The first thing she said was "Mom she is so pretty". She asked me to open the package for her so she could play with it. 

She was amazed how you could pull her outfit down and it turned into Mermaid Fins. She kept doing it over & over saying Mom look. She then insisted on going swimming with her. So they spent hours in the pool! Even the neighbor kids wanted it. I personal love the detail & style. Definitely a nice Barbie & I believe ALL kids would love to own it. My Daughter finally plays with a Barbie that just don't sit there getting dusty.

My Daughter Loves This Barbie..

Lovely, brightly coloured Barbie mermaid. Comes with a dolphin, comb and flip flops. Mermaid converts to a dress, my 5 year old needed a little bit of help with this but not an issue. Mermaid top changes colour in warm water and you can see it change back once back to normal room temperature. My only criticism is the flip flops which have already been lost several times. They just don't seem to want to stay on her feet.

Great imagination play

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old son loves mermaids so I thought he would enjoy this. He thought she was pretty and loved the colors and her outfit. The shoes were lost quickly. The color change outfit while neat wasnt practical. He would have prefered color changing hair as thats the part he dipped in the water when playing with her. He mostly enjoyed brushing her hair but since she didnt do well in the actual water he lost interest.

Don't ever let your daughter take the skirt off because it cannot be put back on so that it will transform again.  Very poorly made!
