[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is rated for older ages but my almost two year old loves this track and has played with it for hours by himself. He also learned how to detach the track and create a jump out of it. Best Christmas present ever! Does require D batteries that I didn't pay attention to so be prepared. Also wish it came with more than one car as I was required to to go out and buy some more.

does not say on box or in the description that it takes 2 D batteries (unless I'm over looking it ). . other than that He is a very happy little boy.

It's fun and fast

Originally this was gifted to car obessed 4 year old. he played with the track for 2 hours (maybe) left home came back and the shooter part no longer worked. like any parents with more than one child we bought another one to have a working shooter and kept the broken one for another one of our kids.  Its simple to assemble and to "pack" up.

It would be perfect but it has its flaws. The tall support is wobbly and doesn't hold up well. The cars only get about 2-3 times around before they lose momentum. If another car catches up to the one in front of it, it's not powerful enough to send both around the track which sends on backwards and just a big mess. It's nicely colored and I like the fast start to slower figure 8 but it requires a lot of babysitting and didn't hold my kids attention long. They're 1 and 3. I was going to save it for later on but decided to return it instead.

It's okay. Ultimately returning.

Use it two times and after it the cars don't make it up the hill

Neon track

Do not buy this.  Unless you want to have a disappointed hot wheels lover.   It's easy to put together but the motor is weak and the cars don't make it up the first ramp.  We've tried 30 cars, and about 4 of them made it around 2-3 times each.  I'm beyond annoyed and disappointed with this and the incentivized reviews.  Hot wheels used to be a product we could count on, this is garbage.

Weak product, don't waste your time

Was super excited to give this to our daughter. After getting it put together, our excitement quickly turned to disappointment. This is not constructed well at all. The motor that is supposed to send the car up the incline does not have enough power to actually get it up there. At first we were hoping we had bad batteries but after getting a new set, this was not the case. We tried multiple cars to see if that was the issue, it was also not the case. This was a huge waste of $40. It seems like a product you would find off of one of those cheap websites for $10, but instead I paid $40!!! 
Growing up, Hot Wheels products were great quality and I was always excited to add to my collection. I guess their products aren't what they used to be.

Extremely disappointed

When we first opened it and assembled it, only a couple of our cars would go all the way around the track. After a few times playing with it, none of them work. I thought maybe we needed to change the batteries for a more forceful push, but that didn't help at all. It's just not a fun track, and the cars stop before making it even half way around.
