I was a little leery about how true it would stay to the original Dickens' classis. It may have strayed a bit but I THOROUGHLY enjoyed watching this with my 5 year old daughter. She has all the Barbie movies and this is my favorite by far.

My niece has watched this 3 times since she opened the movie. I like the fact that I could order from home, no shipping and pick it up at the store which is around the corner. I also liked the fact that I left a letter off my name on the credit card and it was rejected.

We have some of the other Barbie movies and my girls generally love them and I am 50/50 on them. This one, however, is a great Christmas movie. I love the values that it carries. A beautiful singer learns the true meaning of Christmas and both my husband and I were impressed! It's a must-have in your Christmas collection!

Great Christmas Movie!

Bought this for my 4 year old- she loves it. Watched it when bored of all the other Christmas stuff. Easy viewing, just the right length to hold little ones attention.

My 3 yr old daughter really enjoys watching this movie, she especially loves all the Christmas carols, I predict this will be a favorite of hers for quite awhile.

I personally have not seen the DVD, but my granddaughter and great-niece have watched it and the love it. I bought each one of them a copy and they both are 7 years old and have already watched it at least two times.

Barbie in a Christmas Carol DVD

If you or your daughters like Barbie movies, here's another to add to the collection. Barbie has a best friend sidekick. She has a fuzzy animal sidekick. She does NOT have a guy in this movie, but the friend gets one.
Because she is the "Scrooge" character, Barbie is mean/bad at the beginning of the movie. This was a little unsettling for my 4 y.o. dgtr!
It was an interesting take on the Dickens' classic and promotes sense of community, friendship and caring for others. Happy Holidays!

Barbie as Scrooge!

This movie was on sale over the Christmas holiday and was a good deal. This version is like the Scrooge movie only it's Barbie and not scary.

Christmas Deal

It was a nice updated version of Mr. Scrooge's
Christmas story. I like that Barbie is the main character because young girls can relate to her.
Overall, I liked the movie myself.

about it and more !!! Thank you for making it so affordable to purchase .I do not have a Walmart store so I have to order online and even with Tax and delivery charges it was very affordable.
