[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What kid doesn't love mermaids? This Barbie mermaid's tail lights up when her chest button is pressed. It does something in water but, mermaid or not, we don't get Barbies wet in our home, so sue me. Anyway, lovely doll all around if you can get it at a decent price. IMO $10-$16 before tax is fairly reasonable. More than that = highway robbery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves it, and it's a perfect bath toy too, water doesnt get stuck in it or anything!! The pink hair is amazing and hard to get tangled (if you know you know). The only thing I dont like is once you put the tail fin on, it's hard to get off, which is good and bad. Great if you have small children, though!!!!

My daughter loved this mermaid Barbie. It was one of her favorite bath toys and was a great doll until I noticed mold growing in it. The way the tail is made, water gets in the bottom portion of the tail and it can't fully drain or dry out, causing mold to grow. The mold was so bad I could move the bottom portion of the tail and black flicks would come out. My daughter had 2 of these both of them molded and had to be thrown away. Buyer beware if your child plays with this in water. My daughter was so upset when I told her they had to be thrown out.
