[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was bummed that I had a membership with Mattel Barbie Signature and purchased this car before it sold out on Mattel's site, like a month later I inquired about my order to see if there was a date it would be shipped out because I saw everyone else online getting theirs.. and turns out they “lost” the order and canceled it! That was so disrespectful, no reaching out or emailing me. NOTHING, so I canceled my membership, it's not worth it. Happy that Walmart had it, I wanted this car and love this car.

The Barbie Corvette is a great replica of the car from the Barbie movie. This car is unlike any other Barbie vehicle. This vehicle comfortably seats four Barbie dolls. When you turn the steering wheel, the wheel moves in that direction! The doors open, and will stay open until it's closed. The trunk opens and has space to store all of Barbie's belongings. The quality of the vehicle is amazing! This is a great and well-made car for any collector or child. It is definitely worth buying!

The Barbie Corvette Is A Must Have!

Beautiful Collectible car. The car and collection takes me back to Barbie of the 80's. The car is much larger than the remote control version, including a back seat. The steering wheel turns the front tires, the doors and trunk open and the trim on the car is adorable. Excellent car to add to your collection.

This car is very close to the one shown in the movie. It is beautiful and more detailed than I was expecting. Possibly a little delicate for younger children to play with but a beautiful collectible.

I love this Mattel HPK02 Barbie Movie Car, but I am confused by the details that say "Contained Battery Type 1", yet I see no place for a battery or switch on the car anywhere. Could someone please clarify this for me?

Excellent car purchase!

When I saw the price I was hesitant but I liked the open door feature for a Barbie car.  It is so much better than I thought!  The doors do indeed open, as well as the trunk.  The front wheels move with the steering wheel.  It is a big car too.  You can fit 4 Dollie's in here no problem.  Great details.  For example it has crank window turns. (no windows) so cute
