Thank you for bringing back the Barbie of the 80's , the true Barbie, the Barbie I grew up with and loved. I am so happy to see that classic smiling face, and super star mold so I can  re dress her in the classic fashion of that time. Mattle you need to get back to your roots and keep bringing this Barbie back, the true Barbie.

Please, do not overlook this one, especially if you like Barbies of 80-s and 90-s! It is NOT simply another Barbie with long hair. This Barbie celebrates 25 years since most popular (best selling) Totally hair Barbie was made. She has all attributes and features Barbies came with in 90-s. You can move her torso, and bend her knees. Proportions are also slightly different comparing to modern Barbies and, of course, face is a Barbie face I remember from my late 80-s, early 90-s childhood. I would like to have her on a shelf as a collectible but can you pass on braiding that hair? :) It was intended as a gift for my daughter and now she seems to be more curious and aware of history and evolution of Barbie.

I'm so happy that mattel is re-releasing the barbies from the past, especially from the 90's and 80's era. I think barbie was at the top in those years. Still love the doll today but I have such a soft spot for 80's to 90's I have the peaches and cream and barbie and the rockers and just added this one to my collection. Love, love love it

I love 80's and 90's barbie !

I love this doll, she is sheer perfection. My sister and I loved this doll when we were children and now my daughters love her too. This doll is Barbie perfection, her face is just divine, I wish modern Barbies had faces like hers. I hope Mattel brings back more dolls from this era.

Now THIS is Barbie! This Barbie and the superstar mold is the legacy mattel wants to leave behind. This Barbie is ICONIC and the newer ones will never be remembered or loved in the same way as the 80s and 90s Barbies. Please take note mattel, todays children will never know the magic of these Barbies if you dont go back to your roots.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Her old fashion bendable knees are the best experience.  I played with my daughter, and she liked this feature too, without me highlighting it. We have several dolls, and this one is our favorite... we have to take turns.

I missed this barbie so much!

Omg!! I am mommy to a 5 year old and I had this Barbie 25 years ago! I loved this doll when I was younger and I recently purchased the 25th Anniversary doll for my little one. She was so excited to open the box! The style is so 90's and I appreciate it  much more now! My daughter thinks the crinkled hair is so cool and the length. Barbie's hair is also very smooth. Love it!!

Omg!!!! Throwback!!!

I had the original Totally Hair Barbie and still remember trying (and failing) to put the glitter jail in her hair... and mine. This reproduction is perfect, exactly like I remember her, and it was fun reliving my youth styling her hair. She's totally 90's and I hope Mattel brings back more dolls from this era.

A Reproduction from my Childhood!

This doll is simply perfection ! Totally takes you back . I remember owning this doll as a child so when I saw the doll make a comeback I just had to get her for my daughter . Her crimped hair , her dress and the fact that she's an actual reproduction of an original Barbie makes her a must have .

Flashback to the 90's!

Did you miss this doll when she originally was issued 25 years ago? No problem.  This doll has to be, in my opinion, one of the most, if not the most, true-to-original doll I have ever seen from Mattel.  Her face, hair, dress, from head to toe, true perfection.  I display this lovely reproduction right next to my original.  You would have a hard time finding any differences.  She has that sweet smile we all loved.....and her gorgeous hair........still as lush and lovely as the original girl.  Do I recommend her? Yes. To both new collectors and those who have been collecting as long as I have, this is definitely a "must-have" doll to add to your treasured collection.  Enjoy!!
